Susan recently undertook our third family funeral. Each was carried out exactly how we wanted and with kindness, warmth and to the highest standard. This last one was particularly difficult for her as she knew Mum but still maintained her professionalism and looked after her so well. Highly recommended. Thank you so much.

I cannot recommend more highly Susan Whymark and her staff, if i and my family could give 10 stars we would. Imagine the trauma of losing a loved one in this case my wife, everything comes to a stop, there's no way you can deal with this. It paralyses your thoughts and actions. Then Superwoman appears and very gently and sympathetically guides you through the funeral.process very ably assisted by all her staff whose only aim is to offer you help and support. Their organisation of the actual funeral was faultless with just the right feeling of reverence. their service didn't just end with the final curtain, they also support a bereavement group which for those that feel the need, gives an outlet for their feelings in a very informal atmosphere.
A family business with a very definite Family feel. Top marks.

A most professional service. The preliminary interview was sensitive and sympathetic. Their negotiations with other parties involved was efficient and I was kept well informed as things progressed.
The funeral service, the burial and transportation of mourners was carried out in a most supportive and professional manner. Top quality and accommodating service from beginning to completion.

The service provided from initial contact, transfer from the hospital through planning and arranging the funeral to the funeral, was carried out in a very professional manner providing the family with all the help we needed. At each stage all our questions were answered allowing us to focus on having a funeral service to celebrate Ralph's life as we believe he would have wanted.

Staff were very welcoming and made myself and mum feel as comfortable as we can be while going through this sad time. Everyone was so supportive. Willing to help as much as possible and even come up with lovely new ideas. My mum came into the funeral parlour nearly every day for just over 3 weeks to see my dad. My mum said lovely cups of tea. We even got the chance to have my dads fingerprints to keep and copies of his hand prints which we will treasure for many years to come. Everyone looked after my dad and us so well wr couldn’t ask for more we have been telling friends and family how amazing you’ve all been many thanks.

From the very first phone call, to them collecting and caring for Mother, then arranging the funeral, and the funeral itself, the family have nothing but praise for all the staff at Susan Wymark’s. They are wonderful, so kind and compassionate. Nothing was too much trouble for Kelly, our arranger, who spent as much time as we needed with us, to make sure that we got everything just as mother wished for. And on the day, attended by Susan and her crew, and assisted by Jan, the celebrant they recommended, everything went so smoothly and was the perfect goodbye to Mother.
I hope, when my time comes, I will be as well looked after.

My daughter Rebecca who died suddenly was treated with so much dignity and respect, they are such a kind, caring and professional team and nothing was too much trouble, even when there were last minute changes to the funeral plans, with guidance from Mandy this led to a beautiful service for her. From start to finish the level of attention given to us was outstanding, we never felt rushed when we popped in without an appointment. All our wishes and requests were met to a very high standard. The plans we made with Sue Whymarks help, were very hard as it was a funeral for our 14 month daughter. We as a family were very greatful to have a family run funeral directors on our door step, but I would have been very happy to travel to have them in the future.
