We miss mum so much, it doesn't seem real. The Lord has taken back his Angel.

Mum has always been there for us, her children, the gran & great granchildren.
Mum loved us and worried when couldn't contact us. We smile when when we remember how mum would cus if we did something she disliked. Telling which any one of us that was being chastised that we're hard of hearing or if you can't hear you'll feel.

Mum made wonderful cakes, bread, patties, janny cakes (with or without cornmeal, coconut drops, ginger beer, chicken and ooh salt fish fritters.

Mums smile could warm the coldest heart. Mums spirit is free, no longer restricted by pain. Our mum Florentina Valderre Ward daughter of Anita & Authur Ward.

We the family have a lot of comforting memories to sooth our sorrows. And thank everyone for the sympathy and support. God Bless You All. We know mum does.

Derik took great care in every detail and had a good understanding of our needs.
The transport was excellent as we didn't want black,the flowers were perfect.

Richard at AW Lymn, Beeston really looked after us from the beginning of planning the funeral to when it was over. He was so kind and sensitive at what was a very difficult and emotional time for us, and we thank him and all of his team for it.

I would like to give a huge thank you to all the staff at A W Lymn, Jackie gave my daughter and I a lovely warm welcome into her office made us both feel relaxed through what should have been a terrible ordeal. The gentlemens that took Kenneth and ourselves to the crematorium was very kind and gentle in dealing with everyone getting into the car and extremely respectful through the whole process even to giving Kenneth respectful nods. With it been a non religious ceremony we was offer a gentleman called Adam Humphries to take the service. Adam came to visit my daughter and I at our home again very respectful gentleman who gave a lovely recall of our memories and tributes of Kenneth on the day. They helped to make Kenneth's send off warm and loving.

Teresa, Gary and Dominic at the Ruddington Office and Tony who led the day were all excellent. The funeral needed to be held within a week and they managed to pull this off, which was fantastic. There was one area that gave a slight problem - accuracy of recorded details, or their re-production. All was sorted out quickly but I needed to carefully check dates/names. The compassion, care and support we received was outstanding.
