As you are now aware a part of our telephone system had broken, and your calls were therefore going to our other offices around Nottinghamshire. I can only apologise for this, as I appreciate that on the afternoon before your husband's funeral that left you feeling un-nerved. I am only pleased that the funeral itself went well, and that the staff locally looked after things professionally for you. Thank you. -

From the very moment I had a phone conversation with Fiona from the start of this devastating journey to when Kevin transported my family to my husband’s final destination, the service has been exceptional, friendly & caring.

It is always a daunting task to have to book a funeral.
I need not have worried.
From the initial consultation I felt in safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble, and I was taken at a pace to suit me. Nothing felt rushed. Every detail explained and reiterated to make sure "we were all singing from the same hymn sheet". (forgive the pun!!). It was reassuring to get a telephone call the day before the funeral just to go through everything.
Lindsay, is a true asset to the company. The years of experience as a business not only shows in their attention to detail, but they still retain that family and personal touch. The company has obviously progressed to meet with the times. I felt they wrapped me in a huge blanket and guided me through the process.
We did have a little hiccup regarding the flowers, but Jane calmly dealt with the situation, again another example of their professionalism.
My friend said " Lymn's........well they have certainly got it right"
I felt so safe in your hands as I am sure did my mum.

Joanna, Thank you for your lovely review and your kind words. Mum had her final journey on what should have been Flintham show day, travelling through Screveton Village and saying goodbye to Beans farm and the other villages on her way. I am only sorry that there was the slight hiccup with the flowers but am glad Jane handled this well for you. I hope Rolo is behaving and everytime I go into waitrose I will think of your mum with her basket or two! (James with one basket). Enjoy Norfolk next time you go and of course Woodhall Spa and the happy memories we have spoken about which it was lovely to share. Keep smiling and always remember the words of the Afterglow say and mean everything. Thank you, Lindsay.

First class service throughout the whole process David and Wendy helped put it all together especially as we didn’t live in the area and COVID restrictions. Highly recommend this firm as mum was treated with dignity and respect. Thankyou from all the family.

The staff could not have been more helpful and considerate during the time they arrived at the property to taking us back home after the service we would reccomend A W Lymn Arnold to carry out anyones funeral service.

We have used Lymn's Carlton for both my father and mother's funeral.
They are the nicest people and have gone out of their way to provide us with the funeral we wanted.

This is the first funeral we’ve had to plan and A.W.Lymn Bulwell made us feel so comfortable and any questions we had or requests for the day were answered and done with no hesitation. We were made to feel welcome and never felt like we were left to fend for ourselves, we always felt like nothing was too big or too small and we were given enough time to ourselves when we needed. I cannot thank them enough for a lovely treatment in a sad time.

From my very first call I have received impeccable service from A.W.Lymn. Karen has a very gentle , caring nature and at all stages of the procedure has kept me informed of what was happening and if I didn't understand anything she took the time and patience to explain until I did. I found all their staff to be very professional and courteous and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Wendy was very helpful when she visited me at home to arrange my husband's funeral. She was kind and reassuring to us all at a terrible time. She arranged a viewing for the members of the family who weren't able to see their dad in hospital when he passed which was very important to them and to me.
The funeral was just a I wished it to be. David showed us careful compassion during the journeys and the ceremony and Michael Elliott, the Celebrant chosen for us, was really very kind and spoke of all the things I couldnt say on that sad day. A real comfort.
Also the family flowers, arranged by Lymns, were lovely.
