They took me through every step of the way with great compassion and empathy,I was next of kin for my sister, and as we are on lock down, during COVID 19, it was made more difficult to deal with everything over the phone, and no direct meeting with anyone, till the day I went to the chapel of rest to say my goodbyes to my sister, that I met, Ellie Nightingale in person, who had dealt with me,to organise the funeral, and was able to really thank her for helping me through a very sad time, she was very welcoming, and friendly, she made my visit to the chapel of rest, more at ease and guided me through it so well, then at the funeral the next day, the undertakers and bearers that were there from Lymns! We’re really discreet, they were well planned as to how the funeral would be, but stayed in the background, while being on hand to oversee everything, while the service was conducted, it was everything I hoped her funeral would be and more, so professional and caring, I can not thank them all enough, for helping me through an exceedingly hard time in my life, it was made as stress free as they possibly could make it, our family have used A W Lymns since the early 1980s, for family funerals, I feel that speaks volumes for them, I would highly recommend them,

Excellent, but the green death cert form went missing within Lymns, and when we met the hearse in our cars in front of the West Bridgford shop/office, the Lymn van was parked in the way so that "assembling" our cars was awkward.

She recommended a lovely lady minister ( Kerry ) to lead the service because she thought  she would reflect my mum’s personality and beliefs and she was perfect. Thank you to Jane and Lindsay for their help and support. They gave me time whenever I needed it (and I needed it quite a lot) and professional guidance that managed to be kind and human at the same time. Thanks also for looking after Bob and all the family members who came to see him to say goodbye. The funeral itself went perfectly and it was only Covid that spoilt things by preventing us from getting together with friends and family after the service. But


I still wish the cherry tree was still there! Barbara x
