Although A W Lymn's head office moved to Robin Hood House on Robin Hood Street in 1977, many people in the area still refer to this office as "Lymn's on Bath Street".
The head office, built by fourth generation George Rose in the late 1970's, has several in-house funeral directors to help families with their funeral needs, and also houses most of the company's administration staff.
The funeral home is staffed by funeral directors Kevin Browne and Philip Wilson, funeral arranger Megan Rosier and receptionist Lucinda Pallett.
The opening times are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 12.30pm. Staff are also available to meet with you outside of office hours at a mutually convenient time. Please call the telephone number at any time to arrange a convenient appointment.
Besides the administration and reception area, the premises have a coffin showroom, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, a full fleet of hearses and limousines, a vintage fleet, stone masonry services and a florist.
A.W. Lymn's head office serves all of Nottingham city centre and its surrounding areas including Bobbers Mill, Colwick, Hyson Green, Mapperley, Radford, Sherwood, Sneinton, St. Ann's, The Meadows and beyond.
A W Lymn is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel Lymn Rose, one of the company's directors, was president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) during its centenary year in 2005.

Philip arranged and also conducted the funeral for my brother. From the very beginning he put myself and my Mum at ease and took care of everything. Philip kept me up to date along the way and took time to call myself and my Mum to see how we were doing and coping. Philip was also the conductor at my brothers funeral, so seeing a familiar and friendly face on the day also helped to ease the stress as he was available to answer any questions and helped the day go smoothly.
A special mention also to Megan and Lucinda who were also a great comfort to the family each time we visited Lymn’s and again answered any questions we had. David and Kane the drivers, also very professional and respectful.
The service provided by Lymn’s could not be faulted. Thank you to all who helped with the funeral of my brother.

We just arranged a whole funeral in 9 days over the Christmas period. Lymn was professional, conscientious and always considerate, Kevin was on the ball in the lead up and Edward received the pass perfectly for the service itself. The fact that there were two bank holidays in between as well as the usual Christmas chaos did not phase them. Exemplary service

From day 1 when mum was taken into their care the service provided to our family was absolutely amazing.
We have dealt with Lymns prior to mum passing away and have always received a top class professional service.
They deal with everything with dignity and respect and were always there with any questions and concerns, true professionals from beginning to the end.
