Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19, AW Lymn were unable to provide what we would have wanted for my Dad. This is no fault of theirs as there is only so much they can do under the current restrictions.
Everything they were able to provide was very good. Funerals are extremely sad anyway, but to have to say farewell to a loved one this way, was heartbreaking.

The care and compassion shown from Mark Collishaw and Victoria Corder has been exceptional during the organising of the funeral, especially at this sad time of the overwhelming loss of a loved one.

Although A W Lymn's head office moved to Robin Hood House on Robin Hood Street in 1977, many people in the area still refer to this office as "Lymn's on Bath Street".
The head office, built by fourth generation George Rose in the late 1970's, has several in-house funeral directors to help families with their funeral needs, and also houses most of the company's administration staff.
The funeral home is staffed by funeral directors Kevin Browne, Paul Richardson, Philip Wilson, funeral arranger Megan Rosier and receptionist Lucinda Pallett.
The opening times are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. Staff are also available to meet with you after office hours. Please call the telephone number at any time to arrange a convenient appointment.
Besides the administration and reception area, the premises have a coffin showroom, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, a full fleet of hearses and limousines, a vintage fleet, stone masonry services and a florist.
A.W. Lymn's head office serves all of Nottingham city centre and its surrounding areas including Bobbers Mill, Colwick, Hyson Green, Mapperley, Radford, Sherwood, Sneinton, St. Ann's, The Meadows and beyond.
A W Lymn is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel Lymn Rose, one of the company's directors, was president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) during its centenary year in 2005.

They arranged mum’s funeral and did it so professionally especially Megan who kept in touch with our family throughout the whole time .

All the staff were very supportive and helpful whilst going through this very sad and emotional time. It was nice to know there was always someone there on the phone for you. The whole process was carried out professionally with care and attention from the phone call at 3 am in the morning to the funeral service and then collecting funds for our chosen charity and care of the ashes. I was comforted to have a women come to the house to collect my mothers body and then have contact again with her at the funeral, just knowing she looked after my mother was reassuring.
Thank you to Jackie Lymn Rose and her team, an excellent company to lead us through this experience at a difficult time in our lives.
