Although A W Lymn's head office moved to Robin Hood House on Robin Hood Street in 1977, many people in the area still refer to this office as "Lymn's on Bath Street".
The head office, built by fourth generation George Rose in the late 1970's, has several in-house funeral directors to help families with their funeral needs, and also houses most of the company's administration staff.
The funeral home is staffed by funeral directors Kevin Browne, Paul Richardson, Philip Wilson, funeral arranger Megan Rosier and receptionist Lucinda Pallett.
The opening times are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. Staff are also available to meet with you after office hours. Please call the telephone number at any time to arrange a convenient appointment.
Besides the administration and reception area, the premises have a coffin showroom, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, a full fleet of hearses and limousines, a vintage fleet, stone masonry services and a florist.
A.W. Lymn's head office serves all of Nottingham city centre and its surrounding areas including Bobbers Mill, Colwick, Hyson Green, Mapperley, Radford, Sherwood, Sneinton, St. Ann's, The Meadows and beyond.
A W Lymn is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nigel Lymn Rose, one of the company's directors, was president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) during its centenary year in 2005.

Yet again Lymns have been extremely profession, sensitive and approachable whilst dealing with our family loss. I dealt with Paul in January when I lost my mum, unfortunately we lost a very dear family member in October in which I request for Paul to deal with our affairs in terms of the funeral. Both funerals we're very different but equally as beautiful thanks to Paul remembering our family, understanding the different requests and support for us to fulfill the deceased wishes.
Also other staff members at Lymns have been equally kind, caring, professional and compassionate when I have spoken with them. My family member who recently passed was extremely poorly and had a nasty tumour on the face. When I went to visit him he looked very clean tidy and smart, I felt he was going out very dignified. Thankyou again to Paul and all the team, keep doing what you are doing so well .
you are all like a little family and I have always felt looked after by you all.

Excellent you can always rely on a very personal, empathetic and caring service. Paul was very compassionate and made us feel at ease, as if we were the only family going through this. I know everything will go smoothly when using Lymns services, they go that extra mile and nothing is ever too much trouble. Sadly we have had to use Lymns a few times over the last few years, they are always exceptional and I would not use anyone else.

The most excellent service available. They made everything run so smoothly and gave my partner a send off that was so respectable and just as I wanted. I cannot recommend A W Lymns enough for anyone needing to organise a funeral. They are so professional and are so friendly. From the very beginning all at A W Lymn were extremely helpful and sympathetic. At this very difficult time, we were guided and helped to make the appropriate choices which resulted in a funeral which truly reflected my mother. We were shown the utmost courtesy and nothing was too much trouble. At all times A W Lymn acted in a very professional manner and we would not hesitate in recommending them.
