Mark and his team at Lymns were absolutely wonderful in helping myself and my family through this most traumatic experience.. It felt like Mark has taken the burden we we’re carrying and lifted from our shoulders ,He arranged and helped us to sort out absolutely everything we needed do to make my late husband’s funeral the best it could be for all of us ,at a time when we were at out lowest.,and struggling with our emotions, The celebrant he arranged to take the service could not have been better,Amazing care and comfort from them all ..Thank you so much ,,Maureen Dabell x x x

Sadly had to use the services of a Lymns on a few occasions.
Always treated with the utmost respect, by warm and friendly staff.
Nothing is too much trouble and will accommodate your wishes.
First time using the Carlton office and Danny, Mark and a Jessica were outstanding in their services during a very difficult time.
Of course a big thank you also to Matthew.

Harrod House in Carlton, located on Church Street, serves as the purpose-designed home of A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service in the area. Originally established as G. Harrod and Sons, the business became part of the A.W. Lymn group in October 1994 following the acquisition of four funeral homes from Jason Beeson. As part of that transition, the company was proud to welcome Gerald Harrod, a member of the founding family, into the team.
In January 2018, the funeral home moved from its original location on Church Street to its current, larger premises. The building was renamed Harrod House in memory of Gerald, who passed away in 2013. Reflecting Gerald’s impact on the company.
The funeral home is led by Senior Funeral Director Mark Ridout, who brings decades of experience and compassionate care. He is supported by Funeral Director Paul Richardson and Funeral Arranger Emma Hemstock.
This branch serves the communities of Carlton, Bakersfield, Bulcote, Burton Joyce, Caythorpe, Colwick, Gedling, Lowdham, Mapperley, Netherfield, Sneinton, St Ann’s, and surrounding areas.
As part of A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, a fifth-generation family-run business established in 1907, Harrod House continues the proud tradition of respectful, bespoke funeral care under the guidance of directors Nigel, Matthew, and Jackie Lymn Rose.

Danny who looked after us, was amazing, he went above and beyond, his way of dealing with bereaved familys, is really something!
