Dominic and the whole team couldn't have been more compassionate and professional at such a difficult time. Made us feel that nothing, was too much trouble.
Originally owned since the 1960’s by the Beeson family, this funeral home was bought by the Lymn Roses in 1994. This beautiful detached house has two visitation rooms, a reception room, cold room facilities and a small parking area.
AW Lymn's Bingham branch is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and closed on weekends, but can be open at other times by prior appointment.
Dominic Lister, who has worked at A W Lymn since 2009, is the funeral director responsible for this office and also lives locally.
Covering all of Bingham, this branch also serves its surrounding area including Barnstone, Carr Colston, Colston Bassett, Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Cropwell Butler, East Bridgford, Flintham, Granby, Gunthorpe, Hickling, Harby, Kinoulton, Langar, Long Clawson, Lowdham, Owthorpe, Plungar, Radcliffe, Tythby, Upper Saxondale and beyond.

The personal touches like the slideshow throughout the service and the visual tribute worked perfectly and made the service very personal. Very helpful. Considerate. Informative. Relieved me of a lot of stress. Professional approach in the best sense of the word. Overall superb management of a procedure that had to be carried out remotely as I lived over 150miles away. Well done!!

Dominic provided a professional service with compassion from the onset. He worked with other staff including Theresa Spencer, FD to make dads funeral go as well as it possible could in these pandemic times. The family are very appreciate of all staff at Lymn’s including Jo at the central floristry department. The coffin spray was out of this world. Thank you Lymn’s.

The funeral was well organised and in these difficult times we were able to give Dad the send off he deserved .

We cannot fault the service we received from A.W. Lymn Bingham when my mother passed away. From start to finish, all staff we met treated us with empathy and quiet professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble and this helped us cope at a very difficult time. Everything was done to make sure that everything we wanted for the funeral was made available. Our family's wishes were listened to with sympathy and acted upon with efficiency. Any queries we had were answered with clarity and we understood what was going to happen and when it was going to happen. We had confidence that the cortege and funeral service would be well organised which made it so much easier for us to be able to mourn my mother in the way we wanted to; we felt that she had been treated at all times with dignity and respect. We would like to say "Thank You" to everyone at A.W. Lymn, Bingham, for making things easier for us as a family in very difficult circumstances.

Dominic was great from start to finish and made what we wanted to happen, happen. I had no experience of arranging a funeral but he guided me through, despite strange times being mid pandemic we were able to fulfil my dads wishes.
