Dominic at Bingham was fantastic, absolutely faultless. He covered everything off and was always available whenever I called in or phoned. He was sympathetic, calm, thorough and I had complete faith in everything he set up and arranged, nothing was too much trouble for him.
On the day he was great, professional and it was reassuring to see him on the day making sure everything went to plan. Thank you Dominic and I would certainly recommend Lynms to anybody.

Originally owned since the 1960’s by the Beeson family, this funeral home was bought by the Lymn Roses in 1994. This beautiful detached house has two visitation rooms, a reception room, cold room facilities and a small parking area.
AW Lymn's Bingham branch is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and closed on weekends, but can be open at other times by prior appointment.
Dominic Lister, who has worked at A W Lymn since 2009, is the funeral director responsible for this office and also lives locally.
Covering all of Bingham, this branch also serves its surrounding area including Barnstone, Carr Colston, Colston Bassett, Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Cropwell Butler, East Bridgford, Flintham, Granby, Gunthorpe, Hickling, Harby, Kinoulton, Langar, Long Clawson, Lowdham, Owthorpe, Plungar, Radcliffe, Tythby, Upper Saxondale and beyond.
A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is managed by Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose and was established in 1907.

Thank you to Dominic and the team at A W Lymn for all their help in arranging dad's funeral. From start to finish the whole process was made so easy which took the stress off the whole family during a very difficult time for us. On the day of the funeral the procession and service were perfect and in particular we were all very moved by the piper playing which had also been arranged by Dominic. We would not hesitate to recommend A W Lymn due to the sheer professionalism and compassion they show towards the bereaved.

We cannot praise Dominic (Bingham branch) highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble, he kept in touch with us at every stage, which meant such a lot. The respect shown to Mum was outstanding, and the respect shown to us was equally outstanding.
Lymn's made Mum look so beautiful and peaceful, for that we are truly grateful.
We would also like to thank all the drivers and pallbearers who looked after us on the day of Mum's funeral, simply again - outstanding.
Thank you to each and every one of you for your help, understanding and respect at what was such a difficult time for us.

At a time when our family was feeling so much sadness, having to arrange something so important for someone so loved would have been extremely difficult. However Dominic and team not only took the stress away but made the whole process from start to finish so much easier for us all. The service we were given from the start was A star. Maggie could not do enough throughout the arranging. On the day Russell the director was brilliant. All staff made the very difficult time much easier for all involved!

A. W Lymns are very professional, would definitely recommend to anyone. All through the process from the time they came to see us to make the arrangements to looking after Mrs holland at the chapel of rest to the actual day of the funeral. The whole service was efficient and sympathetic, from first phone call, to meeting Maggie, to the support at the Crematorium from Mark (?) and the other men. We truly felt we were in safe hands.

When my wife Sam died I was completely lost on what to do and how to organise the funeral. Sam was not religious and had asked specifically for religion not to be part of her service. All I can say is that what we received from Lymms was the most beautiful celebration of life I and our friends and have ever witnessed. Every aspect of Lymms care of Sam understanding of what we wanted and delivery was first class
Cheryl who conducted the service was that good guests asked me how long she had known Sam for. Her empathy was so moving and genuine I won't forget it. The beautiful way she entwined SAMs favourite Ellie Goulding sing into her summary was truly unique. I don't know where it stands on funeral etiquette but as I was thanking Rob after, I couldn't find my words to thank him and Nigel and the team and could only express my gratitude with a big hug for big a hearted man.
