From first visiting my home to remove my Wife’s Body, I found the two Gentlemen from Owens were very courteous and showed the upmost respect and were dignified in everything they did. I knew from that moment that my Wife would be in safe hands. This was the reason I chose Owens to carry out the Cremation. I now have my Wife’s Ashes. From start to finish I cannot find fault with the very Kind and Thoughtful Staff at Owens.

The service we received from yourselves was outstanding the staff at owens funeral directors were very professional in guiding the requirements that we wanted for the cremation I would recommend owens to anyone looking for this service in the future thank you so much all your help and understanding made this difficult time that we were going through as a family easier as you had taken the strain off ourselfs and didnt have to worry about anything

I would not go anywhere else. Lorraine and Alex and their Team give that special, caring touch. We were recently blown away by the attention to detail, personal touches in the Hearst on the final journey, if I could sun it up I’d say, if you want love and respect of your loved one, even after passing, these are the Team. Our recent care, planning and funeral of our loved one, was in fact a beautiful, happy day which is what we wanted. It was beautiful from start to finish. I cannot thank Owen’s enough for leaving us with peace of mind that the final journey was beautiful and full of love.

I can not fault the staff, they are professional but friendly, empathetic and listened to our requests. The staff made a stressful and upsetting time easier, they were so supportive and suggesting a range of alternatives which I would not of thought of, enabling me to give my late father an amazing send off. The staff in Owens thought of everything, and took care of everything, I can not recommend Owens enough, they are amazing and I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and service that they provided.

Owens took us by the hand and led us through all that was required after the sudden passing of our sister. Alex and Lorraine answered every single call, and there were many, and treated the family with compassion, dignity and practicality throughout the whole process. The funeral went smoothly and all the attendees commented that it was a great service. We would have no hesitation in recommending Owens to anyone, especially as most people wouldn’t know where to begin.

From the second I spoke to John early Sunday morning he was patient and understanding . My relative was collected within the hour and from then the care and updates I received from Lorraine were fantastic. Everything was explained and organised perfectly. All the stress taken away from me and the difference in cost was significant to other funeral directors. No hard selling to make more money , they even used their own flowers on the coffin to keep the costs down! A family business with a great ethos who genuinely care about their customers! Couldn’t recommend more!

From the very start making the phone call we all dread, arranging a loved ones funeral, Owens looked after us & guided us through everything. Lorraine & Alex were amazing, showing sensitivity & compassion & sharing amusing moments from my mother in-laws life with us . They helped us choose the perfect service for us, we chose a celebration of life, & picked the perfect celebrant for us , Jeanette Roberts. We had lovely phone calls just checking we were ok, guiding us if we had forgotten anything ( we had ) , can’t recommend them enough. Owens are an independent family run funeral service, ( there are not many of them left anymore) & you can tell the difference, little touches that mean do much. No hidden costs, & lots of different options to suit whatever your budget . My husband was so impressed he has asked when it’s his turn can Owens look after him ! You can’t get a better recommendation than that .

Step by step they are with you, taking care of your loved one. They enable you to say goodbye how you wish to and nothing is too much trouble. Staff are friendly and professional and funerals have been tailor made to suit different needs, with no fuss.
