From start to finish we felt like Richard and all his amazing staff treated us like family. No request was a problem. They were always there on the end of the phone. We laughed and cried with them. My mum would have loved all the attention she was given by everyone. She would have said that she was treated like a queen. Thank you all your amazing and so caring. God bless you all xx❤️

Richard Ward Funeral Directors we’re absolutely amazing in helping us to organise  my husbands funeral.
Naomi was extremely helpful going out of her way and answering all my questions.
Also we were recommended a Independant funeral celebrant as we didn’t want a religious funeral.
He was excellent and I would use this company again in a heartbeat.
The funeral was a really nice funeral with added humour and remembrance .
As far as funerals go this was by far the best. They  catered to our every Wish.
I cannot thank them enough.

Very empathetic in face to face discussions. Two points:-
If the church venue is unfamiliar it might be good do a preliminary visit to check the physical structure of the building so that the family are not standing outside while funeral attendants decide the best way to carry in the coffin.
Double check for typos. Grand daughter's name is Francessca not Jessica

Richard and his staff make what is a sad time so much easier to cope with. Nothing is to much trouble and as we have had previous occasions to need his service its the llittle things he remembers from then, that show you truly get an independant personal service and that he cares.
His staff are so caring at the end of the phone for any queries that pop into your mind again nothing is too much trouble for them.
We couldnt feel more cared for and about a first class team. Thank you.

Right from the very start, I knew, when the time came, that I was going to entrust my lovely Mum to Richards' care.
Such a lovely, respectful, caring and gentle family run team, without a single hesitation at any request, no matter how small or how late in the day.
Responsive to emails immediately, to phone calls immediately...not a single thing went wrong, from the moment I first contacted them to the moment of them driving away after the funeral.
The flowers for the coffin were exquisite, Mum looked amazing, nothing was to be bettered.
We inter Mum's ashes this week, and I am certain, without a shadow of a doubt, this will go just as beautifully as the day of the funeral itself.
They stand head and shoulders above other funeral directors I have dealt with, and when it's something as emotive as sending off a loved one and having supplied all the material for it yourself, you know you chose the best when you yourself, felt it was a really good day.
Sincere thanks Richard and team, from myself and everyone that said what a fabulous send off Mum had.

Richard and the team, especially Grace, provided an amazing service. At such a difficult time, they were both professional and caring. Luckily for us our loved one had already made all the main decisions for the funeral so the arrangements were much easier to plan. Many years ago Richard and his team also arranged the funeral for my step father and the service then was just as special.
No only do I recommend Richard and his team, but also speaking to your family while you are able and put their wishes in writing for such time they are needed.
