Meg and I couldn't have wished for a more wonderful Funeral Directors. From my first phone call made ,the staff were so helpful, kind and understanding.John took charge of our funeral arrangements and he has been nothing short of fantastic. John's advice, thoroughness and efficiency enabled Meg and I to give Chris the best of funerals he so deserved. Absolutely nothing has been too much trouble for John and his caring and attention to detail has been truly amazing. Tara also fulfilled her role perfectly as our celebrant. Richard and his team have been excellent from the get go. We went in with our dad planned all the funeral and Richard was there to advise us where needed. After our dad passed away he was nothing but professional and the team and explained everything we needed to know. I'm glad my dad chose Richard to do his funeral as there is no one better. We were told that Richard Ward Funeral Directors were "the best in the business." We now know this compliment was fully justified.
We dealt primarily with Helen and, to a lesser extent, Richard - but they are, of course, part of a team.
They dealt with out funeral in a sensitive, caring, compassionate, efficient and highly professional manner. It was a very difficult time for us, but we were guided through the process in a very supportive way. I would also like to compliment the celebrate chosen to manage the service, Keith Charlton. He struck the right mood at the service and delivered a very perceptive and moving eulogy. I really could not recommend this team more highly. They are, quiet simply, the best.

A very good service. We felt very welcome and well looked after. All our requests were catered for. Communication was easy and responsive. The flowers were particularly good. The order of service was well produced. Everything was conducted in a sensitive and professional manner.
