Everything I could possibly have wanted from a funeral services company. Personal, respectful, caring help. Efficient & organised with attention to every small detail. Also excellent value. Helen and her team were simply superb, before and on the day. Highly recommended without hesitation.

The service provided was truly excellent.  Naomi looked after us from the minute we walked into the office right through to the cremation service, we could not have asked for a more personal service.  She made what was a very difficult time much more bearable and nothing was too much trouble.  We cannot thank her enough

Absolutely outstanding service, compassionate, empathetic, efficient and totally respectful of both the lost loved one and the family trying to come to terms with our loss. I cannot thank them enough for all their input, and making a potentially very difficult set of circumstances outside theirs and our control, much easier to deal with. Our thanks as a family do not reflect just how important they were to us or how well they did what was needed to be done.

I would like to say a big thank you especially to Naomi and Helen for all of the kindness that you have shown to my mum and our family. You took all of the stress out of a very destressing situation nothing was to much for you both, the dignity that you showed to my mum from the moment you enterd our home to our last goodbyes .we as a family could never thank you enough, you made sure everything was perfect for our special mum. Tara was a lovely lady she made us cry but she made us laugh remembering the lady our mum was she gave my mum a lovely send off one we can add to our special memories. Thank you all so very much i can not tell you enough what a lovely and special group of people you are many thanks karen Coultas and family x

Richard Ward Funeral Services have provided an excellent service for my late mum and dad and recently my brother.  They are very friendly, caring and compassionate. Nothing was too much trouble for them at a very sad time and for this myself and family cannot thank them enough. I would highly recommend them.

I went to them to arrange my mums funeral; I wanted it to be a colourful and up-lifting funeral, and Helen worked with me to achieve just that. She was so helpful, sensitive, understanding and relaxed - she made everything easy! First Richard and Helen looked after my aunt, then my son and now my father in law! Throughout every step theyve been absolutely brilliant and cant thank them enough for the support they give the family as well as the care the give to our loved ones. I wouldn't use anybody else by choice now. They can alter as much or as little as you like to cater for individual needs x

We are extremely grateful to Richard Ward for his sensitivity and for meeting all our requests as he guided us throughout the planning and arrangements for John's funeral. He gave us the time we needed to think by making a number of arrangements in a very short time. It is not possible to thank him and his staff enough for their care and sensitivity on the day when they were extremely attentive and managed everything calmly and efficiently. Their organisation was very thorough meaning each part of the day ran smoothly which was extremely impressive when we saw the support in the church for John. We would like to thank Richard and everyone in this excellent team for all their care and would always recommend their services to others.

I first became aware of Richard Ward when they dealt with my Aunt, and when I sadly lost my sister I had no hesitation in turning to Richard Wards. My main contact was Annie and she has been wonderful she is efficient, caring and made sure all my concerns were dealt with without hesitation. Also Naomi was brilliant making sure the Order of service was exactly to my specifications and assisting when family members came to pay respects.
Even the owner Mr Ward offered to remain open for a family member so they could visit after work. I have no hesitation whatsoever in rating them excellent. Finally I loved the fact that their premises were bright and contemporary, not the usual dark dull subdued like all other undertakers, that really was one thing I found comforting as I didn't want to be in a dark gloomy room, the loss itself is bad enough without walking into more darkness. So well done and thank you all at Richard Wards
