Opened in 1998, their Peartree Avenue funeral home is located at the junction of Gainsford Road and offers a private chapel of rest along with free parking and full disabled access. Their opening times are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday but they are available 24-hours a day by telephone.

We found all aspects of mum's funeral were explained straightforwardly to us
and in a comforting and respectful manner.
From beginning to the end all staff at Jonathan Terry Funeral Directors were professional but very caring.

I lost my son, his name was Ricky Smith, he was only 39. Jonathan Terry independent funeral directors, went over and above to accommodate us, nothing was to much trouble. Very professional, compassionate, and sincere. I would highly recommend them for your loved one.

When I lost my daughter, I didn’t know where to turn to. Jonathan Terry was the best place. I felt so welcomed and was able to talk to them about anything. They also fulfilled my wishes with what happened with my daughter. I could visit whenever there was a slot available. I wouldn’t have asked for any other funeral directors. Thank you all 😊

Ida my wife was terminally ill and wanted to plan her own funeral. Being unable to leave the house, Victoria came to visit Ida in our home and discussed Ida's needs and requests with great compassion and understanding.
Ida sadly passed away in July and I was distraught. I contacted Victoria who started to implement Ida's funeral plans. Every step of the way I was consulted and informed as to what I had to do and what was happening with Ida.
On visiting Jonathan Terry's I was greeted by a team of warm friendly people who took the weight of the world from my shoulders.
Every question I asked was answered, things that I could not understand were explained, problems I had were sorted.
I was advised and looked after right to the very end of Ida's funeral.
I have nothing but praise and respect for every person I encountered , my heart felt thanks to you all. A very professional service, you should all be very proud of yourselves.
