Established in 1999 by Jonathan Terry, who has been dedicated to the funeral profession since 1985, they have built a solid reputation for delivering personal and excellent service to families throughout Southampton and beyond.

Over the years, Jonathan Terry have continuously reinvested in their business to ensure that they offer the best possible support to their families. In 2008, in response to the growing demand from families on the eastern side of Southampton, they opened their London Road funeral home.

In 2013, they embarked on a journey of redesign and refurbishment of their Peartree Avenue premises, culminating in the completion of the project in 2014.

A significant milestone in their journey came in December 2018 when they acquired 103 Peartree Avenue and launched the White Lily Centre, a bereavement centre offering counselling services to all. The White Lily Centre stands as a symbol of their commitment to supporting families beyond the funeral itself.

In May 2022, their services were further enhanced with the introduction of a new fleet of Mercedes hearses and limousines, ensuring that every aspect of your loved one's final journey is conducted with the utmost care and professionalism.

Opened in 1998, their Peartree Avenue funeral home is located at the junction of Gainsford Road and offers a private chapel of rest along with free parking and full disabled access. Their opening times are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday but they are available 24-hours a day by telephone.

Every member of staff was amazing,with their caring and warm concern that the day would be as smooth as possible for the family. Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was remembered. I felt cocooned and safe in their hands,which was so appreciated when I was feeling so vulnerable and lost. So professional and discreet. I cannot praise them enough and all the family thought the funeral was exactly what Peter would have wanted, and Michael Smith had totally captured the spirit of my son.
