Collecting and transporting the deceased person from the place of death into the funeral director’s care, normally within 15 miles of the funeral director’s premises (£285)

Providing a suitable coffin, made from oak veneer (£400)
Viewing of your loved one for family and friends, by appointment with the funeral director (£1)

Established in 1999 by Jonathan Terry, who has been dedicated to the funeral profession since 1985, they have built a solid reputation for delivering personal and excellent service to families throughout Southampton and beyond.

Over the years, Jonathan Terry have continuously reinvested in their business to ensure that they offer the best possible support to their families. In 2008, in response to the growing demand from families on the eastern side of Southampton, they opened their London Road funeral home.

In 2013, they embarked on a journey of redesign and refurbishment of their Peartree Avenue premises, culminating in the completion of the project in 2014.

A significant milestone in their journey came in December 2018 when they acquired 103 Peartree Avenue and launched the White Lily Centre, a bereavement centre offering counselling services to all. The White Lily Centre stands as a symbol of their commitment to supporting families beyond the funeral itself.

In May 2022, their services were further enhanced with the introduction of a new fleet of Mercedes hearses and limousines, ensuring that every aspect of your loved one's final journey is conducted with the utmost care and professionalism.

Opened in 1998, their Peartree Avenue funeral home is located at the junction of Gainsford Road and offers a private chapel of rest along with free parking and full disabled access. Their opening times are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday but they are available 24-hours a day by telephone.

Meeting Jonathan was a pleasure and he made us feel at immediately at ease.

Dianne spent a good deal of time helping us write the life story of Audrey and her family.

The lead up to the funeral was organised very well and they looked after us at a very sad time.
