I’ve dealt with two other funeral directors in recent years in different areas of England and was certain that the standard of their service couldn’t be bettered. However, Guilders have proved me wrong. At the most difficult time of my life, Natalie and all members of staff showed a level of sensitivity almost unheard of these days. From the moment I first contacted them, Guilders were there for me, thinking ahead and solving problems almost before they occurred. As a result of their care and attention to detail throughout, I can look back at the day of my husband's funeral with love, pride and satisfaction - emotions I didn't expect to feel on such a sad occasion.

We originally spoke to Nigel on the phone, who was extremely helpful and went though the whole process and allowed us to ask many  questions that we had. He was very patient and understanding which was comforting in a difficult process
We dealt with Natalie with our arrangements and she again was very patient and kind   She answered all our questions be it via email or the telephone. She set up a tribute page which allowed us to send all the funeral arrangements in one link aswell as allowing people to donate to our chosen charity & share memories, this was a great help.  Natalie was very calm on the day and made us feel at ease on such a difficult day. We were put in touch with an amazing celebrant who made organising the service so much easier   We would highly recommend Nigel Guider for a personal and thoughtful service.

The best service from Nigel, he did a fantastic job the staff behind the scenes as well. I lost my wife too early we made our 50th wedding anniversary but not Christmas. Nigel and his team including the catering were superb. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Donald Sutherland.

Prompt response to request for funeral services.  Extremely understanding and helpful running through everything we needed to organise,  who to contact etc. and undertaking tasks themselves on our behalf wherever they could, including organising printing of the funeral service leaflets and a slide show photo montage for the funeral service.

Whilst seeking estimates for a cremation only, no attendees for my late wife, I contacted several undertakers in the area and when I finally contacted Nigel Guilders and spoke to them I was immediately struck by there compassion for our loss. The quote I received which included services for free that others were charging for, I decided to use them. Their help and advice made things easier at such a stressful time for which I am extremely grateful. Stay as an Independent Nigel, you offer a better service than the others.
