Stibbards provided an all encompassing service at what was a very difficult time following the death of my beloved mother, from collecting her from home, preparing her for the chapel of rest,  taking her to her final resting place, ordering the flowers, printing the order of service and sourcing the reverend, who visited us to discuss the service and carried it out in a personal and caring manner.  Debbie was amazing and helped me with anything and everything when I was feeling quite helpless. The staff were courteous and respectful throughout.  On the day of the funeral service the cars and funeral assistants and directors were immaculately presented.  I wholeheartedly recommend Stibbards and cannot thank them enough for their care, guidance and service.

Stibbards in Hockley were absolutely excellent in helping arrange and put together the funeral for my dear wife Christine. On the day, the funeral couldn’t have gone any better and Scott and his colleagues who looked after us were of the highest professional standards. 

I must give a very special mention to Diane in the Hockley office. She has been absolutely brilliant in her help, support, guidance and expertise throughout the painful experience of arranging a funeral for someone so dear to me. My family have all agreed with me and commented on how great Diane was with us and how she helped make the funeral a very memorable occasion for all of the right reasons.

The support we received with my mum's funeral arrangements was truly excellent.

From the time of our initial phone call right the way through the day of the funeral, all the team were so respectful, professional, caring and helpful.

Stibbards also arranged the Order of Service for us. These were beautiful & just perfect.

All the team at Stibbards have been wonderful.
 They have gone above and beyond to help the family, including tracking down a family grave in Devon and finding out for us that our mums ashes can be interred there. 
Debbies gentle reminders and detail checking were so helpful and kind. 
I would highly recommend Stibbards to everyone.

The day itself went without a hitch and the funeral director and driver were lovely. But I felt that communication before the day was poor, we weren't even told in advance that our contact person, David would be away the week of the funeral. We had to keep ringing up to find out when Joy was ready to view and to see where we were in the process. However Wendy who stood in for David the week he was away was excellent. She made sure everything was done and really calmed my frazzled nerves by efficiently going through everything.

Stibbards are exemplary & really are totally amazing … with the managing of all the details and the final touches that did not go unnoticed. 
Your service on the day was carried out with such dignity and respect ; it was well regarded by our whole family . So many of our family and friends commented on how wonderful everything was. You took great care of everyone and everything that needed to be done.
The leaflets were the best we have ever seen , so very well presented.

Everyone was friendly and professional. David, Wendy and Rebecca at Rayleigh were very helpful. On the day of funeral Scott was absolutely excellent. David was so helpful with all the changes that we had to make with delaying my Dad’s funeral due to Mum dying a month later. We had a double funeral for both parents.
