A prompt and understanding service. Susan and her team were there for us when we needed them and guided us through a difficult time it's the utmost professionalism and sympathy. It might seem a bit odd to recommend a funeral director to someone ..... but I do!

From initial contact with Susan Whymark Funeral Services Ltd right through to the funeral itself we, as a family, were afforded the highest standard of professional services.

That service was framed in an understanding of the difficult emotional circumstances that the family were having to confront. All staff showed sensitivity and preparedness to do all they could to make it as 'comfortable' as possible.

We would strongly recommend them as an independent and family run business.

At an emotional time when a loved one passes away focusing on funeral arrangements is extremely difficult. A funeral for a loved one is so hard to organise but Susan and her lovely team Inc Mandy and Martin made the experience so much easier. Their kind words, thoughtful nature and understanding manner helped me through a very difficult time. I couldn't thank them enough. My Mothers funeral was arranged with compassion and conducted with dignity. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, Freja however was exceptional from arranging to conducting nothing was too much trouble. I can't speak too highly of your company your service was excellent in every way,paying attention to every detail and saving me the hassle of going to your office,by meeting me at home ,any time at my convenience. Then there were flowers to sort out ,yet again, the stress was taken off my shoulders, you kindly came to the church with a catalogue of flower arrangements so we could decide in situe,where the flowers would look best and you helped me select the flowers and instructed the florist on my behalf. The shock of bereavement can make small decisions into enormous hurdles, the pain is impossible to describe, I shall never forget your patience and understanding and will certainly recommend your funeral service to all my friends.

Susan and her team turned round the requirements for my father's funeral and burial in a very short time-frame. Throughout the process Susan was personally supportive, extremely engaged with what we wanted to celebrate my fathers life and wonderfully caring to both me and my extended family.


We totally recognise now why she is so highly recommended by others in dealing with such sad circumstances and why she is so well regarded in the surrounding area.
