So incredibly friendly. All our wishes were respected and the service was honest and heartwarming without being saccharine. Greg was an absolute superstar, Richard, our Officiant was warm and his  understanding of our father’s personality clearly communicated. Whilst Keith added both dignity and grace to the funeral. The whole family were very impressed with the compassion and level of communication not only in the planning, the day itself but also when collecting Dad’s ashes. Thank you for ensuring that the day was perfect in every way possible by truly listening and being so accommodating.

The care, dignity and compassion shown to our family by the team at Harrod House, Carlton, was truly exceptional from start to finish.

Emma was our main point of contact and guided us through every step with kindness, patience and complete professionalism at a very difficult time. When Emma was unavailable, Mark stepped in seamlessly and provided the same level of reassurance and support.

On the day of the funeral, Mark took the lead and was absolutely fantastic, providing calm reassurance and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Grant drove the hearse with such quiet dignity and respect, which meant a great deal to us.

Nothing was too much trouble, and their attention to detail ensured everything was carried out exactly as we wished.

They treated my brother, Earl, with such respect and gave him the most beautiful and dignified farewell. We will always be grateful for the care and support they gave us.

I would highly recommend their services to anyone needing understanding, guidance and genuine compassion at such a difficult time.

We were recommended Lymns at Spondon by a family friend for our mum’s funeral.
From the very beginning Fiona Hall was exceptional. She showed genuine kindness and compassion, making an incredibly difficult time more manageable.
Fiona made us feel supported throughout rather than overwhelmed.
One small but incredibly meaningful gesture that will stay with us forever - on the day of the funeral Fiona wore a tie that perfectly matched the colour of mums funeral flowers. It was a thoughtful, personal touch that showed us how much attention she gave to honouring our mum.
We would also like to thank Karen the celebrant for the beautiful service she led for mum.
We cannot thank them enough for helping us celebrate mums life in such a special way.

The AW Lymn team in West Bridgford were amazing! They walked us through all the arrangements that needed to be made and went out of their way to give us the burial date and time that worked best for us. They provided us with a really lovely day in the chapel of rest and the funeral day went without any problems at all. I would strongly recommend them and the services that they provide.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the all the team for their care, support and understanding during a very difficult time for us. In particular, we have to thank Emily, who guided us through the whole process in a very calm and attentive manner. She helped us make informed choices, and gave us the time and space to think our decisions through. Nothing was a problem for her, and if she couldn't answer a question, she took the time to find it out for us. Everything on the day went very smoothly, just as planned, and it was reassuring to know the team were there to support if needed. Every aspect was handled with great dignity and in a very professional manner.

From our very first contact, Emily at Lymn’s West Bridgford office was outstanding. She was unfailingly kind, considerate and calm, and guided us through an incredibly difficult time with real sensitivity and professionalism. Nothing ever felt rushed or overlooked, and her communication throughout was clear, reassuring and thoughtful.

On the day of the funeral, Edward and his team were exceptional. Their quiet presence, care and attention ensured everything ran seamlessly from the service through to the crematorium, allowing us to focus fully on saying goodbye, knowing every detail was being taken care of.

A special thank you also to Andrew and his team for the evening before the service, when my mother was welcomed into the church. It was handled with great dignity and respect, and meant a great deal to our family.

Finally, thank you to Russell, our bus driver, who shuttled guests between the church, the crematorium and the wake. His patience, good humour and calm presence were genuinely appreciated.

A.W. Lymn handled every aspect with dignity and professionalism. I am deeply grateful to everyone involved, and especially to Emily, whose compassion and care made a very difficult time easier to bear. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
