David and his team did a wonderful job, he was very kind and kept me up to date with the proceedings. The Chapel of rest was beautiful and light and the perfect venue for the small number of mourners we were allowed during lockdown. We used the online obituary service which was fantastic, people were able to leave condolences and donations and I could keep track of them all. The webcast of the service was a brilliant idea so that those who were unable to come to the funeral could watch and listen in their own homes.

David Thornton, the manager at the Silsden branch and David Carson, the celebrant, helped us to recover from the trauma of not being able to visit my mum in hospital in the last week of her life, due to COVID restrictions. They did this by giving our whole extended family the opportunity to say what they needed to say and do what they needed to do as part of the grieving process. Nothing was too much for them and they accommodated every request and supported us every step of the way. I am eternally grateful to all the staff at Jackson's for the most beautiful, dignified, personalised and moving service and committal we could have hoped for for my mum. The parlour at Jackson's in Silsden was a peaceful and beautiful final resting place for my mum and the perfect place for the funeral service. Andrea Oz

Overall really good service. Robert is great and very practical. Only slight concern was the funeral car. It was a hot day and the air con was not reaching us in the back. The driver couldn’t hear us and he couldn’t seem to get the windows to open. It’s a minor point of improvement for the company though, not a massive issue. The service they provided was other wise excellent.

Jacksons funeral Services were excellent from the outset taking control, with the family's permission, of all the detail and administration. In such an emotional and perhaps unfamiliar situation for some, this was invaluable. David made contact with the family and visited the home to make initial  arrangements whilst allowing for any changes that may occur. The organisation was faultless, straightforward and easy for the family. All this was carried out with care, consideration and empathy.

Andrew from Jackson’s of Silsden was our funeral director. He acted in a professional and sympathetic manner throughout our dealings with him. He gave helpful advice and offered suggestions when we were struggling. He was quick to return calls and we never had to deal with anyone else.  He gave a personal service so that it was as if we were his only customers. The whole funeral went smoothly and was an event Dad would have been pleased with.
