The ultimate professionalism from John and team is second to non. From the devastating moment I had to ring John telling him George had died right up to the day of the funeral, John his family and staff were there for us. Patiently talking us through funeral arrangements that covered everything from announcing the death , choosing a coffin to arranging flowers and where to go to pay our respects afterwards John did it all. Allowing us to visit George in the chapel of rest when we wanted to Pauline and Chris were brilliant giving us the privacy but always somewhere close if we needed them.  
The day of the funeral arrived and again we couldn’t have been looked after any better. John gave George the respect that we all think our loved ones deserve he walked him all the way from our house to the church. Two of the bearers were John own sons who George and I have known since birth and watched them grow into wonderful young men.  It’s good to see that they have inherited the caring nature of their dad and the generations before.  A proper family business with family values

I cannot recommend Pinders and particularly Jackie enough. Our mum passed away on Christmas day and from that moment Jackie was always there to support and guide us. It was the first funeral I have had to arrange and everyone was so kind and made sure the funeral was in keeping with my mums wishes. So thankful.

Was very caring and made things simple to understand and when we needed to ask them about anything they were quick to answer the phone calls and messages we had sent and were extremely helpful would recommend them to anyone who may have lost a loved one.

From the moment of contact I received nothing but care, support and compassion from Jacqui and the team at Pinders. My husband passed away abroad and the repatriation by the insurance company wasn't straight forward but Jacqui was amazing.

This was uncharted territory for us as a family and at a time when we were very vulnerable, emotional and still in shock at what had happened, Pinders were simply wonderful. From our first meeting with Michael he was kind, thoughtful and supportive. At no point did we feel rushed or pressured. He was a 'supportive hand' who guided us through each step with care and kindness. On the day the whole team were amazing - supportive, respectful and gave my dad a wonderful send off. They carried out each step on the day with such attention to detail. We will forever be grateful for their care, kindness and professionalism. We are so glad we chose Pinders and would not hesitate to recommend them They will be our only choice in the future, when we are in this situation again. 100% the best decision we’ve ever made using W.E Pinder & son for the care and funeral service for my mum. Tom in particular I’d like to thank for the kindness and compassion he’s shown to us all, he went above and beyond our expectations making this difficult time a lot easier he handled everything for us nothing was too much trouble. 




They were prompt in getting mum into their care from the hospital which really made us more at ease, we were able to visit as often as we wanted and every time made to feel so welcome. 




The funeral itself was seamless with Tom leading, he had everything so well thought out and timed perfectly, everyone who spoke to us afterwards said how beautiful the service was.




Loved ones deserve the best for their final journey and that’s exactly what you get with these guys, words can’t thank you all enough.

'I whole-heartedly recommend W.E. Pinder Funeral Directors to arrange and manage the funeral of your loved one. My mum passed away on the 15th August 2023 and this was my 1st experience of having to organize a funeral. John's kindness, professionalism and empathy made the experience a seamless and positive one. He established all of our wishes with genuine understanding and guided me accordingly. On the day of the funeral, John and his team clad with blue ties as requested made sure proceedings went seamlessly and I especially wanted to thank him for carrying out our personal added extra request at Foxholme House with such respect - Thank you!!
The service was a perfect tribute to my mum, the photos, the music and the words spoken by Kathryn gave us all a small glimpse of mum's life and with her words and tribute Kathryn managed to make us both laugh and also cry. We really couldn't have asked for any more. It was the perfect send off for my mum.
