I was dealt with in a kind and sympathetic manner being given the time to think about choices unhurriedly. Nothing was too much trouble and on the day of the funeral, despite certain time constraints we felt we could take our time in a manner which was fitting. Clive Wakely and Anita were both patient and kind during the preparation of my husbands funeral, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for enabling me and my family to give Mike the farewell we felt he deserved.

Myself and my family were very happy with the service given by Wakely and Sons it was both professional but friendly, everything we wanted was provided but we were not pushed into anything we didn’t want, the whole funeral was made less traumatic with their help.

The support and kindness from the team at A J Wakely and Sons has been incredible at this difficult time. When my sister sadly passed away suddenly in February we decided to use wakelys from previous experience with friends and family members also having used them before. I spoke with a lovely gentleman called Frank who was very kind and helpful, he advised us on what to do next and arranged an appointment to come to see us very promptly after to start arranging my sisters funeral. He was very patient and companionate also very knowledgeable. The office team were very helpful with any questions we had to ask. Frank made sure I had a briefing the day before the funeral so we know exact timings and what to expect on the day. He and the celebrant at Yeovil crematorium (Philippa) provided a beautiful service for our precious sister, granddaughter, daughter, niece, cousin and friend which we as a family will be forever grateful for. Due to the current restrictions we was restricted to 30 people allowed to attend the service but we was able to have the service webcast so that people that wasn't able to be there in person had the opportunity to pay their respects still. Wakelys always let us know any updates when needed and we just knew that she was in safe hands and she would be looked after like one of their own. I would highly recommend A J Wakely and Sons to look after your loved ones and you throughout the the difficult times. Many thanks, the Greening + Wood family.
