Everything was perfect and mum would have been proud.  Helpful, understanding and compassionate at a difficult time and celebrant was great and fitted everything around my busy schedule.  Thank you so much and the list of who attended was a nice touch. With living so far away we were worried about organising it all but they did everything so seamlessly and efficiently. I would not hesitate in recommending them to others, even down to presenting mums engagement ring and wedding ring in a pretty box that I gave to my daughter and son. Thank you  😊

First class, at all times we were told clearly what would happen and any choices we had.  All of our choices happened and we were kindly and expertly guided through the funeral.  Would have no hesitation in recommending Wakelys.

As well as the funeral directors’ professional approach the office staff were also extremely helpful and efficient. Everyone went the extra mile to make sure that we paid our respects as we wished.  Thank you.

There was never any other choice but to use Wakleys, with Nan passing ( K .I Berry) in 2006 and dad more recently and both from Bridport , wakleys is the only name I know and would trust.

Frank is absolute gentleman, and even though I was in two minds about a direct cremation ( dad wanted, but i thought he deserved bigger) Frank made the whole thing incredibly easy and absolutely stress free.

We cannot thank AJ Wakely enough for the care and compassion they showed to our family, especially Matthew.

They collected my mother-in-law out of hours and from that very first moment handled everything with such dignity and kindness. Throughout the entire process, they kept us fully updated and communicated clearly, which made an incredibly difficult time feel just a little more manageable.

What stood out especially was their sensitivity around my father-in-law. They recognised that certain conversations might feel overwhelming for him and allowed flexibility in how and when discussions took place. That level of emotional intelligence and respect meant so much to us as a family.

We have used AJ Wakely before, and once again their dedication, professionalism, and genuine compassion were evident at every stage, right through to the careful and respectful way they supported us when we collected her ashes.
