The support and kindness from the team at A J Wakely and Sons has been incredible at this difficult time. When my sister sadly passed away suddenly in February we decided to use wakelys from previous experience with friends and family members also having used them before. I spoke with a lovely gentleman called Frank who was very kind and helpful, he advised us on what to do next and arranged an appointment to come to see us very promptly after to start arranging my sisters funeral. He was very patient and companionate also very knowledgeable. The office team were very helpful with any questions we had to ask. Frank made sure I had a briefing the day before the funeral so we know exact timings and what to expect on the day. He and the celebrant at Yeovil crematorium (Philippa) provided a beautiful service for our precious sister, granddaughter, daughter, niece, cousin and friend which we as a family will be forever grateful for. Due to the current restrictions we was restricted to 30 people allowed to attend the service but we was able to have the service webcast so that people that wasn't able to be there in person had the opportunity to pay their respects still. Wakelys always let us know any updates when needed and we just knew that she was in safe hands and she would be looked after like one of their own. I would highly recommend A J Wakely and Sons to look after your loved ones and you throughout the the difficult times. Many thanks, the Greening + Wood family.

I am writing this as both an Ordained Minister who officiated the funeral and as family to my late Aunt whose funeral this was. In both I can say without reservation or hesitation that Wakely (Yeovil) were exemplary in their kindness, compassion and professionality. At a time of great pain and loss, their discretion, helpfulness and gentleness made such a difference to our family. They were a real blessing to us. Wakeley's were brilliant from beginning to end. The support was great, they were always pleasant on the phone and didn't mind explaining things again - and again. The funeral was very professional, they organised everything exactly as I wished and it went very smoothly. I chose them because several people recommended them to me and I can see why. I feel they could not have done more to make a difficult time easier for me.
