Established for over 100 years, across four generations, A.J Wakely & Sons have developed a reputation for providing a dignified and caring service for Yeovil's bereaved families whilst helping local community groups, charities, and churches.
The office is overseen by director Clive Wakely who has worked within the family business for more than 40 years, managed by Matthew Paterson and supported by his friendly team; Frank, Anita and Gill.

It has truly been the most difficult time of my life and working with A J Wakely & Sons made it that tiny bit easier. The whole team of staff were efficient, sensitive and kind. Matt helped us from the very start and even got to meet Dad before he had passed which meant a lot to myself and my family. With every question and decision that needed to be made, Matt was so kind and compassionate and really aided us along the way. No question or ask was ever too much. The team truly helped make Dad’s last day a special one. We will always be the most grateful.
