Established in Nottingham in 1897, C Terry Funeral Services are Bulwell’s longest serving independent funeral directors. Run by the Terry family for five generations, the company prides itself on upholding high levels of professionalism, reputation and care.
All types of service are catered for, for all religions and cultures, as well as non-religious and green funerals. Besides the traditional hearses, C Terry also offer alternative transport, such as horse-drawn hearses and motorcycles
The funeral homes opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Saturday morning from 9 am to 12 pm.
If you need a funeral director outside of these hours, C Terry also run a 24-hour on call service, which is available 365 days a year.

My wife Margaret died of bowel cancer in July of this year. We had been together for 53 years and I wanted her to have a funeral in line with her wishes. These were that people should wear bright clothes and that they should be happy. The first part was fairly easy to arrange, the second part more challenging. We needed a funeral director that could help us achieve both conditions, someone who was experienced, helpful and friendly. We knew of C Terry Funeral Services through previous experience of their work for our family and had been impressed before by their professionalism, their respectful approach and most importantly their friendliness in steering us through challenging times. You don't get a practice run at arranging a funeral and being able to trust your chosen undertaker is a "must". Michael, Kim and Jane couldn't have been more helpful. Straight from the off, they listened to what we wanted to achieve, then set about putting the arrangements in place to make things happen as we wanted them. Nothing was too much trouble, no detail was left to chance and they offered us invaluable advice on how to ensure we ended up with the best funeral we could create for Maggie. We were reassured that our event would be beautiful and that's exactly how it turned out. It was a perfect and fitting tribute to Maggie and we felt as though we'd been looked after as you would be by your family and best friends. These are lovely people who care about getting things right and doing things respectfully and properly. We cannot thank them enough and can recommend C Terry without reservation.
