St. Albans House in Arnold was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford in her capacity as President of the National Association of Funeral Directors. The funeral home underwent an extension in late 2012 and was fully refurbished in 2023 to provide modern, comfortable facilities for families.
Led by Funeral Director Russell Kemp, who possesses extensive knowledge of Arnold’s community churches and customs, the funeral home is supported by Funeral Arranger Jessica Raynor and Receptionists/Administrator Beryl Spencer. Together, they offer compassionate and professional funeral services tailored to each family's needs.
St. Albans House provides a range of facilities to ensure dignified and respectful arrangements:

I have never arranged a funeral before, not only did I have to deal with the loss of my mum, but had to arrange the funeral. AW Lymn we’re fantastic, they sorted everything, they were on hand to answer any questions and give advice. Staff were friendly. The day ran so smoothly. They gave Mum the send off she deserved.

Russ kemp come to our home to sort out the funeral arrangements he was lovely.
The staff on the day were very kind on the day. The hearse was silver and one car driver lovely went through countryside to the cemetery. Great service from a wonderful considerate company Russell then drove us back home.

Everything was efficiently organised with gentle sympathy from all staff.
On the day, Russell checked arrangements at the crematorium and found that the words of one hymn were not the same as the words in the service booklet and quickly got this changed.
Lymn's provided an excellent service.
