My wife died August 25, 2016. I felt it wouldn't be long, if/when my wife passed away, i contacted John Weir. I have been to other funerals, have always been impressed with the apparent ease with which the company looks after, sorts out, can look after all aspects for, in this instance my daughters and I.

Sadly this is the second time we've had need of their services in the past two years but both times we've been entirely satisfied with the company. The staff were respectful, polite and helpful and both funerals went smoothly. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I cannot recommend John Weir highly enough. We have had cause to work with them twice within a month, which was obviously personally challenging but the team there have been fantastic and found the right balance between making sure that things were arranged in time and keeping a respectful space to allow time to grieve.
Everything was faultlessly arranged and clearly communicated.

John Weir organised the funeral of our uncle on Saturday 6th August. The service our family received was absolutely impeccable. The funeral service was beautiful and our uncle's every wish was fulfilled. John Weir and his staff were throughout models of dignity, empathy and complete support. The memory of our uncle will be forever framed by the very moving and meaningful service which John Weir was instrumentative in helping conduct. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending John Weir to your family and loved ones.

John and his team at Rainham could not have been more supportive, helpful patient or understanding. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot begin to thank them enough. The standard of the hearse and limousine and driver Les who was so patient and understanding with my mother who had not been out for two years was exemplary. John himself was very considerate to my mothers limited abilities. The service theyprovide is first class.

Sharon at John Weir in Rainham was compassionate and full of empathy from the first meeting. She ensured my partner was taken good care of and carried out all of my wishes in a caring yet professional manner. He was well looked after as was I, and the funeral arrangements ran smoothly. The recommended celebrant was fantastic and the funeral service was so moving. My partner got a wonderful and fitting farewell. I would highly recommend Sharon and the Rainham John Weir team. When someone dies your whole life is turned upside down,what do you do now ? Who do you turn to ? I am so glad that I walked through your door from that time On I knew that I didn't have to worry about anything Melanie was an absolute godsend and I would not have been able to cope as well as I did ,I can honestly say everyone was so professional and myself and the boys can not thank you enough x

We were dealt with by Sharon Marshall. She was not only professional, but very understanding too. She gave us time when we needed it and did not rush us, but gently guided us through the process. We received follow up calls advising us what John Weir's had done and advising us what would happen next; one less thing for us to worry about.
We would thoroughly recommend John Weir's and Sharon Marshall in particular - a calming influence at a time when our lives and our emotions were in turmoil.
