An amazing service.
Staff were very respectful, kind and thoughtful. As well as extremely helpful at a very sensative time.
On the day of the funeral all members were impeccably dressed again showing great respect.
The funeral went without a problem, I believe because of their gentle guidance

As the funeral was for my daughter, only 30 years old, who took her own life after years of mental illness, it was probably an even more difficult occasion than some. All of the arrangements were handled sensitively, with continuous communication with us to be sure everything was as we wanted. On the day, all went to time and the staff from John Weir were polite and unobtrusive.
There was a follow-up call later to check that we were satisfied with the service provided, which we were. We chose John Weir as they had provided the arrangements for another family member some years ago. They have retained the same excellent service.

John Weir and, in particular Melanie Leeman, looked after our family with the utmost care, respect and attention. Always on hand for any questions and incredibly accommodating in every way she allayed our fears and made us feel comfortable and the process as straightforward and streamlined as it could possibly be. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend John Weirs and their incredibly professional but warm approach to what is inevitably an incredibly difficult process for any bereaved family to go through. They were courteous and respectful and we never felt rushed in any way and was given time to think things over before making any decisions. I cannot praise John Weir and his team enough for the way they conducted the after death care of my husband. They were compassionate, empathic and totally professional. Nothing was left to chance and their care of me was as good as the care of my husband.
Every member of the team performed to the very highest standard. They are simply the best!
