I would like to thank John, Deana, Peter the celebrant and all the staff at John Weir for taking care of all the arrangements for Dad's Funeral. Dad did actually work for John many years ago but the fact he was remembered so fondly by all the staff there made the day extra special.

Very impressed; great guidance and empathy from Deana with a very professional attitude, we were updated regularly and felt we were in safe hands. Even though it was a very small service Winnie and ourselves were treated with the utmost care and respect, never rushed or hurried. Thanks also to Mr Tongue for taking so much trouble over the eulogy, it was much appreciated by the family. We will certainly recommend you, thanks again.

Sharon was very helpful and respectful of our wishes, she recommended a lovely lady called Bridget to do the service,the day of dad's funeral the horses were magnificent and well looked after, the men were all very polite. We only ever use John weir. Everyone commented on how fitting the service was to dad and he would have loved the horses as his dad was a horse dealer, also had them when mum passed away 2006 thankyou Teresa Harris

Our family has used John Weir before and I was extremely pleased with their service this time. From the first phone call they showed nothing but professionalism, and my family felt comfortable dealing with Deana for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. The arrangements were handled exactly how we wished, and we were put in touch with an officiator who took plenty of time to meet with us and understand that we wanted the funeral to be a celebration of my late wife's life, not a sad mournful affair. She consulted with us on the choice of music, and the tone of her address, and on the day executed it perfectly. The funeral itself was made as painless as possible by the professionalism of the drivers, pall bearers and everybody who played a part. We'd forgotten to arrange a few details (our fault) such as storing a child's car seat while we went back for the wake, but again nothing was too much trouble. After the funeral itself the service from Deana didn't end - she's currently helping us make arrangements for the ashes. I'm sorry any of this ever had to happen, but I'm glad we had such support from John Weir and his team to lighten the load.

From start to finish I had nothing but useful help and advice given by a very pleasant employee called Deana. I was also given the opportunity to speak to John Weir himself and he gave me a lot of good advice too. It is not the first time I have used their services and each time the service is excellent. The funeral was faultless and the staff were very thoughtful, carrying out their duties quietly, but thoroughly. They made a very sad occasion much more bearable. An excellent family run firm.
