Qualified Funeral director Ben Baker Dip.FD, and his colleagues, will be at the office to assist you Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. Outside of these hours, the telephone line is open to receive calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
John Weir Funeral Directors is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF). On top of this, it is the first funeral director in Kent to join the international, invitation only organisation, Selected Independent Funeral Homes.

The service provided was professional and organised. We were guided through every step of the process. It's a really difficult time for the family and we felt supported and that we could call for advice as needed. It seems like a long time waiting to be able to register the death and to obtain the death certificate, until you can make that first appt. However we were give information so that we could start to plan things. It was a priority for John Weir's to make sure that every detail was taken care of and how we wanted it to be, which was reassuring. On the day, the staff were kind and gentle, again supporting us through every stage of the funeral and giving us their time and guidance, from leaving the house to returning to the wake. The celebrant, Annie Love, chosen by Sharon, for our service, was also perfect and worked with us to make it the personal service that we wanted. It was a lovely final farewell for our lovely mum and we are very grateful.
