Anna in the Rainham office was extremely considerate at this difficult time. She took great care to explain everything to us. Options were explained to us to enable us to make our decisions for our mums funeral. At no time did we feel pressured to take a particular option. The day before the funeral everything was checked through one last time to ensure everything was correct.



On the day, everything was as we requested. The gentlemen were well presented and took good care of us.

I cannot express enough how wonderful John Weir are. I have sadly had to call on them a few times in recent years, but this time, with the loss of my sister and having to arrange the funeral single handed, Deana helped me every step of the way. Helpful, supportive and very kind.

John Weir took us (Beckys family and her fiancé) through the whole process seamlessly and were so sympathetic about the loss of Becky, who was a much loved daughter, sister, fiancée, along with friend to many. We sadly lost Becky due to cancer and when dealing with the most tragic of circumstances, having such a professional funeral director makes all the difference.

They were compassionate, understanding and I would recommend them, above all other funeral directors. We had Deana in the Rainham branch helping us throughout and she was excellent.

The day of the funeral was so well organised, and their aftercare was also extremely caring.

If anyone ever asks us who they should choose for a funeral director in Medway, we would recommend John Weir every single time.

My mother passed away very recently after a short illness, my brother and I had used John Weir in Rainham for my fathers funeral some 18 years ago and had no hesitation contacting them again.Sharon our funeral co-ordinator could not have been more welcoming and accommodating, she took on board all of our requests and made sure everything was explained and every detail was covered to ensure Mum had the funeral we hoped for. I cannot recommend this company and thank them highly enough, from start to finish the service and support we received has been exemplary.

Recently very sadly my wife passed away in quite traumatic circumstances.

Luckily I chose John Weir Funeral Directors to carry out all of the arrangements.

They have been first class in all areas of my wifes funeral, from initial contact where the staff were very respectful, sympathetic and knowledgeable, helping and guiding me through what is to most people unknown territory and then on the day ensuring everything went according to plan, on time and in a very dignified manner.

The office staff have all worked hard to make my life as easy as possible in what has been a very testing period, Anna in particular has been a tower of strength guiding, advising and reassuring making sure no detail was missed.

The hearse and cars all looked brand new and the funeral director, drivers and attending staff were immaculately turned out, on time (like clockwork) polite and extremely helpful.

And then after the funeral much professionalism and empathy has been displayed in tying up all those loose ends that need attention.

Thanks to John and all at John Weir who assisted and helped me on that very difficult and important journey.
