I would definitely recommend John Weir the staff are very caring and nothing seemed too much trouble. Chapel of rest open during covid pandemic when other undertakers did not offer this service, this meant family was able to say their goodbyes a great help towards the grieving process.

I have used John Weir for my dad’s funeral 12 years ago and recently for my mum’s, I wouldn’t have considered going anywhere else the service I received was excellent on both occasions. The staff were all very helpful especially Amanda who we dealt with, very professional and helpful especially dealing with extra pressures of the coronavirus. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Amanda at John Weir was fantastic from the first phone call we made to say dad was on palliative care and then when we called to book dads funeral. The advice and suggestions were all fantastic nothing was too much trouble. The chauffeurs on the day were kind and professional everything ran so smoothly we can’t thank everyone enough, a couple of family members said it was the best funeral they had ever been to if you can say that. We are very grateful for their support snd kindness and would highly recommend them.

The level of service received from John Weir and in particular Amanda was absolutely first class. Amanda was not only extremely helpful and knowledgeable, but kind, compassionate and caring in helping us arrange the funeral. On the day of the funeral, her colleagues took great care of us and were extremely professional, respectful and kind. I cannot thank the team enough for all their help, care and kindness leading up to and after the funeral. The gentlemen that helped us on the day of the funeral were incredible; they helped with everything, every detail and were kind and caring. As all the staff have been. Amanda has ensured that communication was good and prompted me when needed. What was the most touching, was the care and dignity that the undertakers showed when arriving at our house just after Dad passed. It was the very early hours and yet they conducted themselves in the most respectful manner. 
And Kathryn (our life celebrant), well, people thought she was a friend of Dad’s the way she spoke about him. 
The team also ensure that COVID didn’t intrude too much on what we needed to do. For this, we were very thankful. Everything was still very safe but easy-guidelines followed but in a very seamless way. 
From start to finish, John Weir have been incredible. Words can’t express our gratitude enough.
