I couldn’t thank John Weir (Ben & Amanda) for all they did for my little boy. They went above and beyond to care for him, and me. Markus was with them for a fairly long time before the funeral, and they cared for him in a way I forever owe them for. I loved how they made sure his music was playing for him, how they tucked him in at night and said good night to him, and loved seeing how cared for he was (included his endless amounts of toys). From the moment Ben met with me, to the moment we said good bye to Markus they did nothing but the best. I also appreciate that markus died shortly after Christmas, and lots of funeral directors were either turning me down or saying they’ll collect Markus but will not speak to me until after the new year. I was appalled! Until I spoke to Amanda on the phone, who quickly sorted out a meeting for me, and they listened to what I wanted and didn’t even suggest to take Markus away from me until I was ready. They just made that unimaginable situation that little bit easier for me.
