Susan is wonderful. She has conducted funerals for both my father and recently my mother. She is incredibly kind and empathetic.
The whole service is professional and felt very safe in their hands. I would thoroughly recommend them.

We could not fault Susan Whymark and her wonderful team. A huge thank you to Mandy Porter who became our main point of contact. Even last minute changes to the order of service, that may have seemed trivial to some, were no problem at all. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even the robin in the tree singing is heart out added a special touch. The day went so well the most often heard comment as we left the chapel was "that was the nicest service we have been to" which from the ladies in the WI is praise indeed and the fitting send-off we had planned for a very special lady.

I would recommend Susan Whymark having just recently you them for my late brother .from the first phone call to advise them that my brother had past up until the day of the funeral thestaff was there 100% for us .the only one thing  I would have liked them to use was a privay screen from when they come to collect  my brother as my sister in law was in the room with him all the time and we just felt they could have asked us if we wanted to leave whilst they did everything they had to do for him to ready him to be taken away. But on the day they stopped at my brothers close as people was going to walk into the village as it’s too small for too many cars which we thought was a wonderful thing .Mandy the lady looking after everything done a wonderful job.

I cannot recommend more highly Susan Whymark and her staff, if i and my family could give 10 stars we would. Imagine the trauma of losing a loved one in this case my wife, everything comes to a stop, there's no way you can deal with this. It paralyses your thoughts and actions. Then Superwoman appears and very gently and sympathetically guides you through the funeral.process very ably assisted by all her staff whose only aim is to offer you help and support. Their organisation of the actual funeral was faultless with just the right feeling of reverence. their service didn't just end with the final curtain, they also support a bereavement group which for those that feel the need, gives an outlet for their feelings in a very informal atmosphere.
A family business with a very definite Family feel. Top marks.

Susan recently undertook our third family funeral. Each was carried out exactly how we wanted and with kindness, warmth and to the highest standard. This last one was particularly difficult for her as she knew Mum but still maintained her professionalism and looked after her so well. Highly recommended. Thank you so much.

A most professional service. The preliminary interview was sensitive and sympathetic. Their negotiations with other parties involved was efficient and I was kept well informed as things progressed.
The funeral service, the burial and transportation of mourners was carried out in a most supportive and professional manner. Top quality and accommodating service from beginning to completion.

The service provided from initial contact, transfer from the hospital through planning and arranging the funeral to the funeral, was carried out in a very professional manner providing the family with all the help we needed. At each stage all our questions were answered allowing us to focus on having a funeral service to celebrate Ralph's life as we believe he would have wanted.

My daughter Rebecca who died suddenly was treated with so much dignity and respect, they are such a kind, caring and professional team and nothing was too much trouble, even when there were last minute changes to the funeral plans, with guidance from Mandy this led to a beautiful service for her. I felt a really bad day was made perfect. Amanda was truly amazing. Even down to the ties she had for the pallbearers. She went out of her way to get the coffin I really wanted and most of all she went to the extreme to get my girl presentable so that I could say goodbye. Nothing was to much trouble for any of them. I could not have wished for a more professional and caring service from the time we stepped through the door until paying their fees. As a family I know we must have put them under pressure with our requests but again they excelled. We, the famy think they are second to none and stand alone as competent and reliable Funeral Directors. We have used them before, have known them and of them for many years and can say personally as a member and PCC Secretary of our local church that they are held in great esteem.
