I wish to convey my heartfelt appreciation to all the staff at A.W Lymn’s Arnold for their thoughtful and respectful support during my mother's funeral. From the office staff to the pallbearers and drivers, we were expertly guided through this deeply challenging period by their professional assistance. This enabled us to say our final goodbye exactly as we had envisioned; we could not have been in better hands, as they ensured that a very difficult day unfolded seamlessly. The entire experience was remarkably professional, from the initial contact to the day of the service, and the consultation with the celebrant was exceptional. As a family, we felt recognized and valued the effort made to comprehend how much our mother meant to so many individuals. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

St. Albans House in Arnold was opened in 1996 by Alison Maddaford in her capacity as President of the National Association of Funeral Directors. The funeral home underwent an extension in late 2012 and was fully refurbished in 2023 to provide modern, comfortable facilities for families.
Led by Funeral Director Russell Kemp, who possesses extensive knowledge of Arnold’s community churches and customs, the funeral home is supported by Funeral Arranger Jessica Raynor and Receptionists/Administrator Beryl Spencer. Together, they offer compassionate and professional funeral services tailored to each family's needs.
St. Albans House provides a range of facilities to ensure dignified and respectful arrangements:

- A welcoming reception area with two private reception rooms
- Three visitation rooms, including a suite with an adjoining private space for families
- Cold room facilities for preservation

At a time of sadness and distress, the team were empathetic and walked my family through all the options, guiding us and helping us make decisions. They introduced us to Anya, our celebrant, who was superb, the tribute she created from our memories was excellent. On the day, the team were superb and everything went as expected. Jess and the staff at the Arnold branch of AW Lymn were wonderful. They helped me to arrange everything that was needed for my mother's funeral - offering a very helpful guiding hand at such a difficult time.
They were also very accommodating with last minute changes after my father was taken into hospital suddenly.
On the day, Russell and his team were excellent. Treating my Mum's coffin with the upmost respect.

Very friendly and professional team organising my Father's funeral. They looked after my Mother and I from day one. Jess guided us through the process in the office, nothing was too much trouble. She was able to find 2 pieces of music that we specifically requested for the crematorium that Dad loved. Paul and his team looked after us on the day of the funeral.
