Our lovely mum Doreen passed away at the end of October. This was the first funeral the adult children in the family were to arrange and we were very unsure at a very difficult time. Viners were recommended to us by our local church. We were given an appointment promptly, the first ‘official’ task in the process. We were met by Debbie with tissues and sympathy. She walked us through every detail to be arranged, always with great advice and suggestions and no pressure. Throughout the process Debbie guided us from visiting with mum to arranging the flowers. All staff always met us with warmth and kindness. James was our director and met with us the night before to go through all the practical details ensuring we were comfortable and happy. On the day James and his team astounded us with their kindness and compassion. We were able to relax and take in the day. It was the small details that meant so much - encouraging us to really look at the flowers and take some time with the hearse when it arrived at the house, something that was so helpful for my 90 year old father in his grieving process. Throughout the funeral we felt we were in safe hands and able to fully experience the service and burial without worrying or thinking about any details. My mum was treated with the utmost respect and dignity which made the day beautiful. Thank you so much Debbie, James and the rest of the team. The family of Doreen Parks x

Absolutely wonderful service from Viners, every element of looking after my Dad was done sensitively and with respect, without being depressing. I can't thank the team at Viner and Son enough. From the first phone call to Debbie through to the service with Jamie in control, compassion, dignity and respect seemed to come naturally to them. There was even a follow up call from Debbie a few days after the service to see how I was managing. Every aspect within their control was handled with true professionalism.

I would highly recommend Viners Funeral Directors. Their Professional Service and Care the whole staff who looked after my Husband David Hughes was the best I could wished for him. Allowing me to visit him in the Chapel of rest and taking care of arranging everything for David’s funeral. Frequently informing the family of updates. Amazing funeral service all the staff and undertakers helped me and my family through the most devastating time in our lives when my husband  passed away very unexpectedly. The service was second to none  from beginning to end the care and respect shown to us all was truly amazing. I have also received calls from Debbie the wonderful lady who helped to organise the whole service etc checking to see if I was doing ok and stating if I need anything at all to contact even just for a chat to someone other than family which really means a lot .
