Steven at j ribbons was excellent throughout from the moment my nanna passed away I called Steven and he sorted every Thing for us, a time like this is very heart breaking and stressful however Steven made things very easy as he sorted every Thing from the advert in the paper, collecting and looking after her from hull royal in his chapel of rest were we as a family could visit her there before the crematorium, very smart very respectful and made things go very easy aswell as took care of every little detail from the flowers to the cars etc. Would highly recommend in this horrible time as Steven just sorted every Thing for us. We as a family thank you for this Steven.

Dear Frazer, We would like to thank you and your team at Garton’s for your professionalism and sympathy at this distressing time. Whilst Denise was poorly we lost her very suddenly and unexpectedly. We wanted Denise’s service to be a celebration of her life and from the start Frazer could see our vision. From the distinctive coffin to the magnificent horses the day was as perfect as we could have wished for despite being one of the most upsetting and stressful situations we as a family have ever found ourselves in.

I would like to thank J.Ribbons for the outstanding service they gave to the family on the loss of my husband Ian. The comfort and support Steve gave to us all, was beyond words; he listened to us, explained things that we didn’t know and gave us time to come to terms with our loss. Thank you Steve for your care to detail, your understanding and all of the extra work you did, like going out of your way to pick up flowers on a Sunday for us. The whole family commented on the respect and care you showed to them. The funeral was organised with such courtesy and attention, we will always remember the amazing farewell you gave Ian, Thank You.

At a time when you’re not thinking clearly and feeling vulnerable, you’re not in the mindset to plan for an emotional event you’d rather hadn’t happened. Amongst all the offers from family and friends to help, it was the professionalism of the M Garton & Sons team to take control from that initial phone call, that made it bearable. Most things you don’t even know you need to know but Frazer was exceptional at explaining every detail, for every decision, at every stage that mattered. Everything else, they just took care of, so we didn’t have to. I could comment on their excellent level of service, impeccable resting environment, friendly and personable approach; but it was the seamlessness and work behind the scenes that, in retrospect we valued the most. Our focus was able to be firmly where it should have been - with our grief and with our families. I cannot thank them enough for this and their continued success as a locally-owned business is a reflection of the quality and effort the team put in. It is therefore without reservation, I would recommend M Gartons & Sons to you to take care of your loved one with the kindness and utmost care you could only hope for.
