Highly recommended. Josephine went above and beyond to ensure everything went exactly as we’d hoped for, carried out with a great degree of care, respect and accuracy throughout, essentially turning difficult personal circumstances into a much calmer experience for us.
Nothing was too much trouble and in a short space of time Jo had coordinated all elements of the funeral seamlessly and perfectly. Thank you.

A truly remarkable service from the Cogan team. Josephine was exceptional from the first time I called and she made me feel as though my father’s funeral arrangements were her top priority. Nothing was too much trouble and every aspect was handled sensitively and very professional. I did not expect such a thoughtful, caring and importantly personal service could be offered. I was very impressed. Couldn’t find a single area she could have done better. Thank you Josephine.

Cogan and Sons - I chose this funeral home for my husband. We went to 3 funeral homes and I immediately felt at ease with Cogans. I am so glad we chose them. Josephine handled the whole process with care and sensitivity and kept us informed of all the preparation, nothing was too hard and she went the extra mile for us, this was such a difficult time for me and my family but I put my total trust in them to look after my husband and I could not of asked for anyone better to care for him. I would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting to rest there loved one with a funeral home and give you a peace of mind at what is a very difficult and stressful time.

From my first conversation with Josephine,everything was done to a professional and compassionate level. Jo was always either available or returned calls promptly,her whole team couldn't have been more helpful for which I am extremely grateful.

Its always a difficult time when a loved one has passed even at the age of 98. However, Josephine was just brilliant, she gave us some options for the funeral which we discussed with her and then settled on the one we thought best and from then on Josephine did the everything.
We live 3 hours drive from North Ferriby so could not be directly involved, but we did not have to worry as Josephine took care of everything.
We would highly recommend Ronald Cogan.

During my initial phone call to Cogans I was shocked to hear that David Cogan was no longer in charge and I had some reservations/worries as he was the only person I have ever dealt with, including recently for my Dad's funeral. He had also known our family for a long time.

My worries were very quickly alleviated and the service offered by Josephine and team were first class from start to finish.

I could not have asked for better support and guidance during this very tough time. I never once felt like I was asking a silly question or that my visits were inconvenient or asking too much.
Attention to detail on everything made me feel so much better about Mum's service and how she was looked after at Cogan's. The team offer such a professional yet approachable service which is exactly what I needed.

Jo kept me updated at every stage and communicated everything with me in a clear and concise manner - much needed during such a tough time.
This wonderful service continued during the funeral, even allowing a detour to take flowers to the churchyard without rushing me or family members on this difficult day.
The support has continued beyond that day, in terms of ashes and guidance on everything involved in the internment and also signposting to additional services available (jewellery for example) which I have been most grateful for.

I would never ring anyone else.

Thank you to the whole team for getting me through this tough time and giving Mum the care and send off she deserved.

I cannot praise Ronald Cogan & Sons Funeral Directors highly enough. As a family we have used this company for years. I was quite concerned to hear that the Cogan family had recently sold, however, my concerns were completely unfounded. Josephine and Heather were simply excellent. Their highly professional and polite service removed the stress and anxiety at a very difficult time. I would recommend them unreservedly.
