Our mum met with Eric from M Garton and Son a few years ago when first deciding on a funeral plan. Although thankfully this was not needed for some time after the service we received matched and exceeded not only the family’s expectations but we know it was carried out exactly as she had wished. Good service from Lee, Eric and all the team that we met throughput.

Garton & Son were very professional and yet approachable and friendly. On the day of the funeral they showed quiet dignity to my Mother and were easy to deal with throughout - especially appreciated during the current restrictions. I would recommend them without hesitation.

From beginning to end of the sad loss of our mother. Gartons have supported the family through every step. Their compassion, thoughtfulness and understanding was without doubt tremendous. Lee was there at the end of the phone and put us at ease when we had a query.
The funeral was a joyous . occasion which was exactly what we wanted, celebrating mums 95 years.
Thank you all at Gartons for being so kind and understanding.Mum could not have had better care.
Many relatives have contacted the family to say how lovely everything was.

M Garton and Son provided a highly professional but also personal service, striking just the right balance of care and sympathy, particularly in the current circumstances.
We were guided by Lee through the process, making it as smooth as possible in light of the COVID 19 restrictions. 
The attention to detail and friendly  service were second to none. Highly recommended.

Professional, caring personnel. Very organised with helpful suggestions. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt confident leaving details in their capable hands knowing that everything would be perfect on the day ... as it was. I cannot thank M.Garton & Son Funeral Directors enough for all of their
expert guidance and absolute kindness on arranging the funeral of my beloved Mum recently.
It was going to prove particularly difficult for me as I live in Devon and Mum was in a home in Yorkshire, however Lee from Garton's "walked " me through every step of the way and I cannot thank him enough for all of his help and professionalism.
Every member of Garton's staff who I encountered along the way treated me as if I was the only person they had to deal with and NOTHING was too much trouble and I was never hurried in any way at all.
So ,Five Star Service from absolute 5 Star Staff. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

From the advice and the options offered to us at our first meeting to the logistics on the day of the funeral itself, my brother and I found M Garton & Sons to be a model of customer service. They respected the decisions we made, accepted it when we changed our minds and, generally, nothing was too much trouble for them. Losing a parent is a difficult and stressful time and the staff there understood that implicitly. They made it stress free for us and as pleasant an experience as one possibly can in such circumstances. The entire team was excellent and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to others.
