Very professional courteous . It was nice to have someone to turn to at an otherwise difficult time for advice. I would recommend setting up pre- paid funeral plans to reduce some of the inevitable stress .

Fantastic service, David from the funeral parlour couldn't do enough for us, explained everything clearly and with compassion, kept us up to date with everything, it made us feel stress free with the arrangements, and be able to give our mum the best, and we did, thank you from Marion Driscolls family.David we couldn't have done it without you.

Professional and discreet. I felt they knew what they were doing and were right beside me all the way in doing their best to make sure the ceremony went smoothly and with appropriate dignity. It helped me to relax enormously knowing I could trust them and could concentrate on my contribution.

Excellent all round service. Celebrant Vicky Corder the best that one could wish for. Beautiful flowers, fantastic hearse and car. Staff were attentive and caring. Crematorium lovely and peaceful, music and visual display just what I ordered. Thank you for all you have done.

I feel from start to finish I have received a professional and friendly service from all of the staff at the Wollaton Branch in particular Alan who I saw on several occasions to discuss the arrangements for my dads funeral. Alan was fantastic! He was very patient and understanding and Nothing was too much trouble. He assisted with arranging for additional photographs to be printed in his own time which was above and beyond his daily duties and very much appreciated. The staff were always polite and offered lots of advice, guidance and support throughout this difficult time. The service and burial went smoothly and everything I asked for was adhered to with lots of reassurance and support from Julia who was brilliant on the day of the funeral. The staff at the Wollaton branch were exemplary throughout the process and I am extremely grateful for the service I received. I cannot Praise the staff enough for there help and good service. They continue to uphold the excellent reputation of AW Lymn and I would highly recommend this branch and AW Lymn to any friends or family. Thank you all once again.

It was truly a privilege and an honour to help such a wonderful family. We had several meetings to go through and clarify different areas of the funeral and I was extremely careful to ensure that nothing was lost in the translation. I am very grateful for my colleague Juliaâs help. There was certainly a lot of detail to get right and I was very happy to bring an element of my graphic and photo manipulation skills to bear in sorting out some family photos for you; I was very pleased with the results and Iâm very happy that you were too. Again, with the help of Julia conducting the funeral, Iâm delighted that everything went off without a hitch. Thank you, Alan. -

Richard and the staff from the Wollaton branch in Nottingham couldn't of done anymore for my family. They were not only very professional but also very friendly and sympathetic.

Excellent service from initial contact right through to the actual funeral.
Communication was superb and at no time did we feel we were being hurried or asking silly questions. Advice was freely given without any pressure and we never felt that we were being steered to pick more expensive options.

we were dealt with care and compassion and a professional manner by all staff involved at a very sad and stressful time, having never had to arrange a funeral before on my own I felt myself and our sons were helped along the way thanks to all concerned

The service was very easy to organise and mostly stress-free.
What went badly was the burial. No-one had thought about the logistics of getting a wheelchair across a grave yard and therefore with great difficulty and due to soft ground it was difficult to get my mum to the grave and even then we could not stand with the rest of the family. As discussed in our email exchange, I am sorry that you felt this one aspect of the service was not as you would have wished, but to reiterate as the grave was selected by yourselves and the Churchyard, and we were not asked to provide any sort of temporary flooring over the grass, we did not consider this as something that was required. I do hope that everything else was completed to your family's satisfaction, and I am sorry that this one issue has caused you to rate our entire service as two stars out of a possible five. -

We were absolutely overwhelmed with the caring quality service received by lymn's at my father in laws recent funeral the service we recieved was outstanding and would strongly recommend lymn's.Speacial thanks to David who played a major role and is recommendation of Rachel Snowball for her services at the crematorium.

I cannot praise enough A.W.Lymn with the way they handled my Mums funeral. There professionalism and compassion went as smooth as the Rolls Royce Phantoms which were used on the day. This was the first time I had been placed in this position and quite frankly I was terrified not knowing what had to be done but my fears were alleviated after our first visit and meeting with Jane at the Radcliffe office. From day 1 to the day of the funeral their attention to detail was incredible and the advice given was solid and honest.
A worry for many is also the cost on such an occasion as we hear about outrageous price claims generated by the media and insurance companies but for the service provided I believe we paid a good fair price.
I would certainly recommend A.W.Lymn to anyone who has the unenviable task of arranging a funeral. Let them guide you they know what they are doing.
Just a special mention to Jane who took care of us all the way like a guardian angel.
