I was treated with utmost respect, as was my late husband. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was carried out to my instructions. The funeral went smoothly and without fuss. Excellent service all round, especially from Jonathan and Tina. Many thanks to you all.

I cannot begin to explain the care, courtesy and professionalism of the team from AW Lymns, throughout the handling of my fathers funeral.
Right from the initial planning stage, Paul Richardson was the consummate professional. On the day, the team lead by Rob Lippett were absolutely perfect. The vintage lorry made the day complete, my father having spent his whole career underneath lorries mending them. It was fitting that his final journey was on top of one.
Paul even went to the trouble of including David Powell on the team. someone who I mentioned I had known nearly thirty years ago. To have a group of this calibre look after us made the day as near perfect as it could be, under the circumstances.
Huge thanks to all involved.

The service provided by Lymns was excellent, a date was arranged with a quick turn around and whilst initially I worried whether everything would be sorted in time, it soon became clear that everything was under control. The teamwork shown on the day was second to none and each member of staff involved played their part respectfully. The celebrant suggested (Anja) was professional and the perfect person for the job. Thanks to everyone involved on the day including Emma and Beryl.

Thank you so much to Danny, my mums funeral couldn’t have been made any easier, Danny led the way and helped my sister and myself through this difficult time. Danny was friendly and sympathetic and always at the end of the phone if we needed extra help. The funeral went well and we have nothing but praise for all the staff that helped us on the saddest day of our lives.

Tracy did an excellent job guiding us through the process and Kevin delivered a seamless and highly professional directorship on the day. Generally the service from Lymm’s has been excellent. The reason for not giving the top grade is that I feel Lymm’ s should have saved me from getting upset by the attempt by Sandiacre parish council to charge an extra £150 for the hiring of a skip to remove excess soil when their rules ( supplied by you) and signed by me when booking the burial plot, clearly state that excess soil would remain on site.

Mr Newenham, Initially I would thank you for your kind comments and overall appraisal that the services provided by our family company and Karen were excellent. I am grateful you have raised the issued of Sandiacre Parish Council and am sorry that this caused concern for a few days.
This has allowed us to rectify matters with them and to point out that their published rules did not allow for the £150.00 additional charge they intended to make that has not now been paid. Thank you for your kind understanding. -

My Mums funeral was a gentle celebration of her life , I couldn’t be happier with her wonderful send off
Jacky was such a fantastic support with arranging all this and it was a great comfort to me that one of my friends was able to do this with me at such a delicate time.
As expected , my other special friend , Nigel , conducted this for me and was with me all the way.
Paul ,another dear friend, was our driver, which meant ,on the journey towards the crematorium, the atmosphere in the car was a lot more comfortable for us as my family were also familiar with him.
I also would like to make a special heartfelt Thankyou to Paul as he went way beyond his duties.
Due to the fuel situation I was unable to take my car.
At the end of the reception we found ourselves unable to get home
We were unable to obtain taxis , also because of the fuel shortage.
I called him after working hours and he came back out , in very miserable weather, to pick us up and take us home.
If I was still an employee I would want to recommend him for employer of the month.
I was also so happy to see that Matthew had chosen to help carry my beautiful, precious Mum in and with the support of himself and Nigel , this made Oliver feel a little more comforted.
And last but not least , lovely Charis who pulled all the stops out to help me design the beautiful service cards. These were only ordered right at the very last minute.
She is a credit to your company and is certainly in the correct profession .

I appreciate that your comments are not necessarily wholly independent having had the long relationship that you have with both my family and our family company. We understnad how difficult things have been for you during lockdown and having lost both your parents in a relatively short period of time it has been extremely difficult. Andrew was very caring and efficient when he visited to arrange funeral. Slight hiccup with music at crematorium but we sorted this ourselves.
