Having dealt with funeral directors in the past, I have never had the pleasure of one who took time to listen, to explain, and to be supportative to me, and my family. John Pearce stands out as very different here is a man and company who care about their customers during a very difficult time of loosing a loved one. My beloved husband passed suddenly and unexpectedly, and I was at a complete loss as to how to handle the details, and not sure I even had the strength to.

After speaking with a couple of major chains with nearby locations, I was left frustrated and feeling like any service they provided was just a means to an end: their profit. At a time when I was devastated from my loss, the last thing I wanted was to deal with someone who obviously cared more for their bottom line than for my grief or my loved one.

So I looked further and found Pearce Funeral Services, a local, independent funeral director. I am so grateful to say they were wonderful.

I am disabled, and John Pearce came out to my home. He was so kind, gentle and empathetic. I felt like he genuinely cared about me, and truly cared about my husband who had passed. Throughout the entire process, he continued to display that same warm empathy. I felt confident that my husband was cared for with the greatest dignity and respect.

I cannot state highly enough just how the whole team were so wonderful and extremely professional in dealing with my late wife's funeral. Everything was just perfect and couldn't have gone any better.

My wife would have loved every aspect of the event. Obitus webcast and the photo sequence to the song of reflection was timed to perfection.

From the minute I walked into the Groundwell Rd branch, Belinda was so kind and caring and helped me navigate the whole process of arranging my stepdaughter’s funeral, I literally could not have got through these last few weeks without her.
