From the arrangements, which my father in law and I sorted with Pearce Funeral Services prior to his passing, through to the day of the funeral itself, I have nothing but praise for Dave Bashford and the whole team from Pearce’s, who were always available to help, advise, and make sure the day ran as well as possible.

Dave was a great support, managing Micks expectations sensitively about the arrangements, but managing to exceed our expectations on the day itself, with the planning to make sure our slightly unusual day went so very smoothly, and without a hitch. 

Nothing was too much trouble for Dave, including coordinating between us, the local fire brigade, and the crematorium, and ensuring we had access to my father in law in the chapel of rest, and again Pearce’s coordinating all the relatives who wanted to visit him. 

I can’t thank Dave and all the staff enough for all their help, support and advice which has helped us all through a very difficult time.

I dealt with John Pearce from start to finish where my partners funeral was concerned and I can honestly say what an amazingly caring, sympathetic, thoughtful and professional gentleman he is. On the few occasions when John wasn't available the other staff were of the same high standard. From the moment that I first sat down with John I knew that I had made the right decision to choose Pearce Funeral Services for my partners funeral. John guided me through every aspect and answered all my questions, making informed suggestions when needed and allowing time for me to compose myself when overcome with emotion.
John was able to provide me with advice on their recommended florist and also celebrant, nothing was missed and the funeral itself was amazingly beautiful service.
I can honestly recommend Pearce Funeral Services every time.

John Pearce provides an incredible level of professionalism and organisation combined with caring and compassion.  Throughout the whole process from the initial meeting to the funeral day itself, nothing was ever rushed, and we always felt that John was completely in control of everything that needed to be done.  
Les was verger at St Philips Church for many years, and with him I encountered many funeral directors.  When Les died there was no doubt in my mind that John was my first choice, and he exceeded all of my expectations.  You will not find a better funeral director.

We were extremely happy and satisfied with the way the funeral director helped us in every way possible from first meeting to the day of the funeral. They have also said they are always available should we need them. They were caring compassionate and respectful. We could not fault the service we received in any way at all. The attention to the family's needs was excellent. Our Funeral Director helped us to organise a long distance registration of death, doing all the legwork between the hospital and registrar on our behalf, as part of the service; and this was before we ever discussed funeral plans and costs. we were well informed throughout and the day itself couldn't have been made any easier. thanks to John and the team for helping us through this difficult time. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this company.
