E Latham and W Bexon funeral directors, both old established funeral firms in Hucknall, were incorporated in St. James House after joining the A.W. Lymn group in 1987.
The funeral home offers off-street parking, a reception area, two visitation rooms (which can be used together as a family suite if requested) and cold room facilities.
St. James House is open between 9 am and 5 pm, from Monday to Friday and is run by Senior Funeral Director Catherine Broome who is assisted by assisted by Funerals Arrangers Deanna Dale, Emma Hind & Luke Mellor.
If you need to talk after office hours or would like to arrange a more convenient appointment you can get in touch by calling the telephone number which is available 24 hours, seven days a week.
In the Hucknall office, Catherine also managers our pre-paid funerals provided by Ecclesiastical.
St. James House covers all of Hucknall and its surrounding areas including to the north: the villages of Blidworth, Linby, Papplewick and Ravenshead; to the north-west: Annesley, Annesley Woodhouse and Newstead Village; to the east: Bestwood Country Park and Bestwood Village; to the west: Eastwood, Heanor, Jacksdale, Selston, Underwood and Westwood.
St. James House is part of the A W Lymn group, managed and owned by the Lymn Rose family.

Caroline and Catherine at AW Lymn have made the horrible process of saying goodbye to our mum as painless as possible. Their compassionate, friendly and timely service has left such a positive impression on the last three nightmarish weeks, and they have succeeded in giving mum the dignified yet highly personal service that would have seen her smile and give the thumbs up. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

The service I received can only be described as wonderful and totally professional. From the moment of contact by phone with Caroline to a face to face meeting with Catherine you feel at ease and that you are valued, at what is a very difficult time. Arrangements before and on the day went very well and made the burden so much easier.
I have nothing but praise and thanks to all at Lymn's ,especially Catherine who is a credit to the company.

I couldn't have asked for better or more sensitive support. Every aspect of the process was clearly explained and managed effectively, reducing the stress on myself and family members.
