J.W. Hutchinson Family Funeral Services was established in 1904 and was sold to A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service in 2018. The building was fully renovated and modernised in 2019.
The funeral home is run by Funeral Arranger Becky Hogg who will be able to assist you Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. If you need assistance outside of office hours then please call the telephone number at any time.
The funeral home covers Rainworth and all its surrounding areas, including Blidworth, Bilsthorpe, Clipstone, Farnsfield, Papplewick, Ravenshead, Oxton and further afield.
Established in 1907, A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nowadays, Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose run the company.

From our first call, our first visit to A.W Lymn we were treated with compassion for collecting mum to preparing and organising her funeral. Every thing was organised for us, we were kept up to date and the service was very professional. We would highly recommend to friends. Both David and Wendy helped us tremendously through this sad time.

First class service throughout the whole process David and Wendy helped put it all together especially as we didn’t live in the area and COVID restrictions. Highly recommend this firm as mum was treated with dignity and respect. Thankyou from all the family.

Wendy was very helpful when she visited me at home to arrange my husband's funeral. She was kind and reassuring to us all at a terrible time. She arranged a viewing for the members of the family who weren't able to see their dad in hospital when he passed which was very important to them and to me.
The funeral was just a I wished it to be. David showed us careful compassion during the journeys and the ceremony and Michael Elliott, the Celebrant chosen for us, was really very kind and spoke of all the things I couldnt say on that sad day. A real comfort.
Also the family flowers, arranged by Lymns, were lovely.

Wendy, David and the rest of the team managed to combine professionalism and detailed organisation with real compassion so Jo's family and friends had a completely stress free day and could focus on saying goodby to her. Everyone who attened and those who managed to watch online all said it was such a fitting tribute to a wonderful, loving and loved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, wife and lover.

Well what can I say A.W.Lymn were fantastic all the way through. Communication was excellent from Wendy and David and John on the day was so professional and kind. Janette the celebrant did an amazing job. We couldn't have asked for anything more. It was a beautiful service!!! Thank you so much for all your help and the extra added touch with the car. From the start I had a choice of Anne’s resting place to suit where I lived.David&Wendy were very professional but also kind and supportive.On the day of the funeral the gentleman in charge was again very good,helping us all get through the various stages.Finally the lady who took the service was exceptional. Everything was carried out to the highest standard from the day mum passed away to the day of mums funeral her funeral service at church was beautiful and the burial at tithe Green was very moving and beautiful and the horse and carriage that mum had was abserlutly beautiful it was s funeral fit for a queen wendy was fantastic always keeping in contact with me at all times and helped me arrange mums funeral right through till the day of mums funeral the care and respect we received from wendy and David was outstanding
