From the first phonecall when Mum passed, throughout the whole process in arranging the funeral, Lymns have been incredibly supportive, professional and empathetic. They have helped my family navigate an incredibly difficult time and we are so grateful for their experience and guidance and for the great respect they showed our Mum. J.W. Hutchinson Family Funeral Services was established in 1904 and was sold to A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service in 2018. The building was fully renovated and modernised in 2019.
The funeral home is run by Funeral Arranger Becky Hogg who will be able to assist you Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. If you need assistance outside of office hours then please call the telephone number at any time.
The funeral home covers Rainworth and all its surrounding areas, including Blidworth, Bilsthorpe, Clipstone, Farnsfield, Papplewick, Ravenshead, Oxton and further afield.
Established in 1907, A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nowadays, Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose run the company.

From the initial phone call to the collection of Audrey's ashes, the professionalism, care and consideration has been tremendous. The people who were at the funeral ( driver attendants and pall bearers, were extremely professional and helpful ) .
Rachel Snowball, the celebrant, also deserves a mention. Recommended by A W Lymn,she gave mum a wonderful send off.
All together, a very difficult time was made much easier with all their professional, considerate approach. Would definitely recommend.

We used the Rainworth branch for my mums funeral Becky was amazing very supportive and went through everything step by step answered all my questions and kept us to date as I moved through the process I would highly recommend them on the day of the funeral the gentleman that came were lovely really good with my elderly father didn’t rush him and were very supportive and calm
