The staff at the Rainworth Funeral Parlour were very kind & compassionate, allowing us time to grieve whilst gently guiding us through our personal preferences, despite having to abide by the covid-19 restrictions.
J.W. Hutchinson Family Funeral Services was established in 1904 and was sold to A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service in 2018. The building was fully renovated and modernised in 2019.
The funeral home is run by Funeral Arranger Becky Hogg who will be able to assist you Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. If you need assistance outside of office hours then please call the telephone number at any time.
The funeral home covers Rainworth and all its surrounding areas, including Blidworth, Bilsthorpe, Clipstone, Farnsfield, Papplewick, Ravenshead, Oxton and further afield.
Established in 1907, A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nowadays, Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose run the company.

The service i received at Lymns was absolutely outstanding. Their support and guidance was overwhelming, they really did go above and beyond to make my Dads final send off one to remember the way he would of wanted it. Nothing was to big or to little for them to help with me with. I found nothing but comfort and respect from the team and can never say thank them enough for making this hard time so easy for me, they listened to what i wished for and then made it happen with out any fuss.

This is the first time i have had to organise a funeral and we dealt with David Clarke. He walked us through everything step by step and didn't try and sell us anything extra.
He was genuine, empathetic and very professional. This made a very difficult time easier to cope with and organise.
He is a credit to his profession and the company he works for Lymns.

As a local Church Minister I have always found the staff at Lymns, helpful and professional as we support families together at difficult times.
My personal experience recently on the death of my mum was dealt with kindness and empathy and all I could have asked for to help me and my family.

Massive thanks to David and Denise at the Rainworth Office for looking after our Dad 'Harry' and giving him the great send off he deserved.
They guided us through the planning of his Funeral with sensitivity and patience and kept us updated every step of the way.
The day went off without a hitch and that was all thanks to their attention to detail.
